When going to breakfast we saw roaches in the food area.

Hot staff were friendly and accommodating. Was missing bath mat a d pillow cases. Staff told us customers were stealing the pillow cases and they didnot have enough. Breakfast was good with infamous cinnamon rolls and hot food.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was really good.

Staff was unavailable for 20 minutes at check in. The staff was dressed inappropriately, wearing psychedelic mushroom shirts and torn jeans. The front desk employee, “Tabatha,” was too busy disappearing on smoke breaks to appropriately handle our concerns. Our room was not ready by check in. We stood in the hall while the employee cleaned it, talking on her phone and using foul language in front of our children. Once in our room, the sheets had black smears by the head of bed, and we requested the sheets be changed. Our pillow had urine colored stains on it. We requested a new pillow and they never brought a new one. We went back downstairs and asked for directions to the pool, only to be told the pool is “not quite ready yet.” We called two days prior to confirm the readiness of the pool and they assured us it would be ready. We were there for 1.5 hours and decided to leave. No refund given, no kindness or warmth from staff the entire time. Awful experience.

My daughter and I stayed here one night on our long drive to Charleston. We arrived late. I can’t say enough about the kind night shift woman working the desk. She was warm, friendly, and thoughtful. I just knew we were in for a good experience. It was all downhill from there. Once we got to our room, we found the TV remote wouldn’t work, the WiFi was inaccessible, there was hair in the bathtub, there was toothpaste spit all over the mirror and faucet, and there were old candy wrappers on the floor by the bed. It was too late at night for my toddler and me to do anything about it. When we checked out in the morning, we told the lady at the desk (different person) about the state of our room. I stated I didn’t want a refund, I just wanted her to know the room hadn’t been cleaned. She quickly dismissed me and clearly couldn’t have cared less. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review…that’s how gross it was.

Room wasn’t clean, there was dirty underwear in the bathroom, clump of hair and chips on the floor, and the breakfast was lacking things that were supposed to be provided.

We’ve stayed here four years straight after a long drive on our way to spring break. We’ve always enjoyed it but this was the first year that it’s been beyond disappointing enough that we won’t be back. The room was dirty and grimy I was uncomfortable to even stay. Breakfast, which used to be really good, was slim pickings and stale or not cooked at all. We all got omelets and they were frozen with a solid cheese stick in the middle still. The garbage’s in the room where you eat your breakfast we’re literally overflowing and smelt of rotten milk. The place was so unkept and uncared for it was terrible. We won’t be back :(

Great helpful

Friendly staff, room service wasn’t good at all, half cleaned room or didn’t at all. Breakfast was filling, but went out for coffee. Had to request new towels every night and bed was never made up or sheets changed, had a 4 day stay, front desk told me I should write email to cooperate office.

The housekeepers woke us at 930 beating on our door for a noon checkout. We checked in bc we were both sick so needed to crash on our trip. Then Laverna or something like that cut us off with a laundry cart then when I asked if she didn’t see us she said she thought we were going the other way but it doesn’t matter. There was still only room for one where she cut us off. Then proceeded to talk about us to her coworkers or staff bc she may have been a manager.

Good room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Overall a nice stay.

Nice location, convenient to many restaurants, and the Interstate. Good value for the price.
