I recently stayed at 9Hotel Mercy in Lisbon. While the location is excellent, my overall experience was disappointing due to issues with the accommodation and poor handling by management. We booked two suites on the 6th floor (Rooms 601 and 602) for our family, which included three children. Upon checking in, we discovered that the air conditioning in one of the rooms was not functioning. Despite several attempts by the front desk to resolve the issue remotely, it remained unresolved. By midnight, we were forced to move all three kids into our room, which resulted in a very uncomfortable and disrupted night. I even had to assist staff with moving the bedding at 1 a.m., which was far from ideal. The next morning, I requested a full refund for the unusable room, which cost around 300 EUR. However, the General Manager offered only a partial refund of 67 EUR, citing the alternative room they had proposed (despite it being a lower category and on a different floor). This response was unsatisfactory and failed to consider the significant inconvenience and disruption we experienced. Throughout my interactions with management, there was a lack of flexibility and understanding. This was particularly disappointing, as I expected a higher level of service and customer care. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend 9Hotel Mercy, especially considering the insufficient compensation for a room we were unable to use.

Unable to switch on air con in our room. Had to ask reception to do this for us. Both the toilet and bathroom doors did not close properly. Minor things but a bit annoying. The hotel was nice and in a good location.

Susana and the manager were great. Didn't like that there was no window for the shower.

This hotel is in a great location, and has a great, modern feel to it in the lobby and rooftop bar. The view from the 6th floor suite patio is nice. We had the suite and it was really disappointing, especially for what we paid. The room felt dirty, musty, and had several issues upon arrival. The biggest thing is the air conditioning makes a loud noise that will not go away and made it hard to sleep at night. The wall cover to flush the toilet was falling off and even though someone came to “fix” it, it kept coming off. The shower didn’t drain well so there was water every where every time we showered, and the temperature would switch to scalding hot without notice so that made it uncomfortable to shower. The room itself had stains on the furniture and curtains and just didn’t feel very clean. My toddler dropped a toy under the bed and it was covered in dust. We didn’t use the bathtub in the room at all because it was stained and felt dirty. The suite being on the 6th floor meant you were listening to music from the rooftop bar until well after 11 pm. The walls are zero sound proof and you can hear everything in the room from the hallway and near the elevator. The staff were not very friendly and came to check on our issues and didn’t resolve any of it, nor did they seem to care. For what we paid, we were expecting a lot more than what this hotel offered, and I can’t say I would recommend this place to anyone I know.

Hotel muito bem localizado no Chiado. Café da manhã variado e saboroso, com diversas opções. Quarto confortável, porém um pouco apertado para deixar a mala. Para o meu gosto, achei a decoração muito escura e pesada, mas nada que atrapalhe a estadia.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel in a great location. Room was comfortable and clean. On the top floor is a small outisde bar with good views. Breakfast was good. Recommend this hitel if you like Boutique Hotels

We stayed 3 nights at 9Hotel Mercy in Lisbon, in their best room. The room itself was very spacious and nicely decorated, and the suites are comfortable. Unfortunately, the experience was impacted by two major issues: the constant buzzing noise from the building’s air conditioning system, which was noticeable day and night, and a full 24-hour elevator outage. This meant climbing six floors multiple times a day. No form of compensation was offered or even suggested for these inconveniences, which was disappointing given the hotel’s category and price point.

The property was very nice and the staff was great, very helpful. Juan was AMAZING, he was super helpful locating us places to eat, making us reservations and providing us information on where to go and how to get there. He was also our bartender - he made us the perfect cocktails. Thank you, Juan - we will recommend this property to all of our friends traveling into the area.

É um hotel com ótima localização e infraestrutura. Tem uma linda decoração e quarto espaçoso, o café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

Rommene er veldig mørke og dårlig lys. Ser ikke ordentlig på badet og noen av lysene virket ikke. God service og positivt med parkering til 21 euro rett ved siden av i parkeringshus.

Très bon séjour au cœur de Lisbonne J’ai séjourné cinq nuits au 9 Hôtel Mercy, idéalement situé dans le quartier du Chiado, avec de nombreuses options de restauration à proximité immédiate. Points positifs : • Chambre spacieuse et confortable, • Literie de qualité, • Petit déjeuner varié et satisfaisant, • Personnel professionnel et aimable, avec une mention particulière pour l’accueil chaleureux au service du petit déjeuner, • Ménage réalisé correctement chaque jour. Points à améliorer : • Isolation phonique insuffisante malgré le double vitrage : nuisances nocturnes dues à la circulation et aux fêtards dans la rue. Il est vivement conseillé de demander une chambre sur l’arrière lors de la réservation. En résumé, un séjour globalement satisfaisant, avec un bon niveau de confort et un emplacement central, à condition de bien choisir l’orientation de la chambre.
