Hotel.com did not inform us that we should check in at another hotel. Otherwise the room was modern and nice. Perfect with balcony. Good parking in a garage.

Chambre impeccable. Excellent petit déjeuner pris sur le toit terrasse avec vue magnifique sur le golfe. Accès directe à pieds à la ville haute et au port en navette gratuite.

Conveniently located close to the port. The rooftop bar has a beautiful view, and the staff was excellent. Great selection of wines and food.

Excellent accueil des hôtesses. Très bel hôtel au calme, trés propre. Attention, l'accueil et l'hébergement (sécurisé) ne sont pas à la même adresse.

Superbe séjour A refaire

Internet was weak. We had trouble finding the place to check in. The instructions said to check in at Best Western Hotel Alcyon. There was no hotel Best Western at this location. We found the Alcyon Residence and called the hotel number listed in the Hotel.com listing. They told us to go further up the hill to another hotel to check in. We eventually did find the hotel to check in. None of the names matched the instructions. Unable to get in to the section after checking in. Maid had to come and dismantle the door lock. No tea or coffee to welcome us. Walls like paper and conversations heard in the next apartment.The only positive was the friendly Romanian receptionist.

Avant d'arriver au logement, il faut descendre plus bas pour aller chercher les clés...nous n'étions pas au courant. La pente pour accéder au parking est raide et le chemin étroit. Heureusement que nous n'avions pas un gros véhicule ! Le logement en lui-même est calme, propre et idéalement situé pour visiter Porto-Vecchio. Mais la porte d'entrée ne se fermait pas ! Souvent elle s'est ouverte alors que nous étions présents dans le logement. Nous étions au rez de chaussée et face à l'entrée de l'hôtel. Dès qu'une personne rentrait, nous l'entendions avec le grincement de la porte. Beaucoup d'imperfections pour un hôtel d'un tel standing !!!

We stayed at the residence and not the hotel per se (a few minutes walking). The room was comfortable and quiet. Free parking was a plus. Only downside was the wifi which was very weak and sometimes totally down.
