Great stay, good service, perfect room.

We stay here regularly however we were put in a room where there was a light outside that kept the room like daylight at night. Disappointing stay and even after my husband complained at 2am, management did not offer us any compensation / option. In saying that, we will always stay here but not in that room.

We stay here whenever we are in Gqebetha. It always delivers. Location is excellent, food is good, service is great.

Great location, all staff friendly and happy to help. An older hotel with a few "tired" areas and fixtures and fittings - but nothing bad. It has an older hotel "charm". Food is good.

I adore this hotel! Ideal in so many ways. The breakfast was great! Dinner at Ginger restaurant was amazing!

Great hotel perfect location. Not the best of service. Breakfast does not cater for everyone.. very limited especially the cooked breakfast.

The wifi in the room was appalling - I even moved room and it was not better, and also poor in the public areas. Simple websites like the weather could not be accessed from the room and anyone wanting to conduct work, via Teams, could not do so from the room. The breakfast was ordinary. The restaurant staff are sweet and efficient. The plumbing in shower and basin also need attention- the shower was either scalding or if one moved it a millimetre, cool.

I had a three night business trip stay at The Beach Hotel which was very pleasant and enjoyable. Room was exceptionally clean, and serviced daily. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Mini Bar Fridge in the room was great - as often this is not available in a hotel room. Lovely view of the sea from my room - got to see the dolphins swimming out at sea early morning. Room service was great. Staff were friendly and very helpful - especially Thulani who willingly offered to assist me with my heavy bag - without even requesting him to help me. Staff at the breakfast room were also very warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others. Competitively priced and affordable. My only complaint - the cupboard in my room had a broken shelf, so there was no place to put clothes etc. But that was a minor issue. I will definitely return.

Expected a sea view room from the advert. Got a room facing the back side. With no view there are plenty of better options in the area

Brilliant Hotel with lovely Art Deco-styled stain glass features. I enjoyed my stay there. If I ever go back to PE, I will choose the Beach Hotel Again.
