Friendly staff at the front desk and bar! They stayed late for us to check in and gave great local recommendations at the bar! Only issue with staff is we had a house keeper walk into our room without approval at 9:30 in the morning. It was a little sketchy! Pool looked nice but never used! Did get bit by something while there…could be mosquitoes or the other something else…never seen the actual bugs but had the bites….other than that, the place did seem clean, nice shower! The views of the beach though were breathtaking and very close to Balos beach

This hotel was excellent for the price! A total gem. The grounds are beautiful, literally steps from the beach. The beach is sandy although there are rocks as well, bring water shoes. To be honest, we visited all the tourist beach spots, but the hotel beach was the best. It’s clean and the water is pristine, plus you have the bar and hotel restaurant close and beach loungers with umbrellas. The pool was gorgeous and super clean. We never had to worry about being able to get chairs and umbrellas. Clean rooms, wonderful staff, great location. You are close to the boats for Balos and Gramvoussa. Chania is only 45 mins, and there are plenty of wine and oil tours close. Highly recommend renting a car because there are restaurants close that are a must try, plus drives on this island are beautiful anywhere you go. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel and I can not wait until we get to come back for another stay!!

If there is a word that best describes this property its the filoxenia from the staff. Clean hotel, recently renovated pool and bedrooms. Lovely relaxing beach close by. Also easy access to the town and other nearby beaches if one would like to go as an option. Nice restaurants on the main road followed by a local supermarket, bakeries, petrol station. We will be visiting you all soon Stavroulla and Yiannis

Viihdyimme loistavasti Sunny Bay hotellissa. Allas ja ranta olivat hienot ja hotelli kaikin puolin viihtyisä.

We were upgraded to a newly remodeled suit which had a great contemporary theme. The host and staff were excellent. If you are planning to be in this area of Crete, I highly recommend this property!

It was a great hotel close to Balos and Elafonissi beaches. The hotel was really clean, but there was some funky smell close to our room when we opened the door. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The waves were a little harsh, but really great.
