Very pleased with my stay. The room was spacious and had everything I required and more, including fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and the room and the ensuite bathroom were extremely clean. I was at the front of the hotel and had a pleasant view from the window. The location was perfect for me and it was an easy stroll into the centre of Cheltenham. There is no reception as such but i liked the simplicity of using the codes i was given for entry. However, if you had an issue it was easy enough to contact the manager. I stayed for two nights and next time I visit Cheltenham I will definitely stay at Kingsmuir again. The location and value for money were the main plus points. If you are looking for clean and comfortable accommodation and don’t require traditional hotel services then I thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable stay no helpful staff all done by numbers. A very tight booking out time at 1030.

Property is a little dated inside but clean and great value. Additional microwave [not used] and fridge with utensils are welcome. Overall a pleasant one night stay. Good location between town and Cheltenham Town FC

Fantastic little hotel , not the most modern but basic . Everything you need , parking is limited but Martin the GM will sort you for a permit and it’s done electronically. Rooms are warm , clean and tidy , beds may not be the most substantial in comfort but suffice . It’s certainly worth the daily rate . Highly recommend!

Heating did not work. Now feeling poorly after such a cold night. Entry and exit to hotel and room a faff.

Clean and tidy little dated but all in all good hotel towels and toiletries and a decent size TV parking too would stay again

Very neglected property. Curtains falling off the windows and not fully covering the windows. Heating not working at all in 20 deg temperatures.

Very central for everything

No complaints but the toilet roll holder is broken. Also, I arrived late at night and it was difficult to read the names of the buildings. A light above the hotel name would be a big help. Thank you

This is not an Hotel ! Merely a doss house with keypad access to individual rooms Room 10 had no heating and we fled from this dreadful place after the first night ! Cannot understand how they get away with it

The location is excellent, 15 mins to town centre, nearby is a large park where there is a lake and some lovely walks, the hotel is charming with coved ceilings and a lovely garden at the rear

Check in was something ive never experienced before with no reception and having to find the room by phoning Martin; i assume to be the manager, for direction and have him text the door codes to me. He was very helful; I cant fault his support. The room was very basic, with rough dated decore and furniture. The door to the room was thin with an unusable bolt, anyone using nearbye rooms could easily be heard, thankfully they were well behaved. The curtains were so thin and let day light in and the nets were torn. The grounds and entrance were very unkempt, including a dirty stack of chairs and an overflowing bucket of water and cigarette butts, near the main entrance. The bed mattress was uncomfortable with springs easily felt. However, the bedding and towels were nice and clean and the room was gloriously warm. I wont stay again.

Key less accommodation- this was convenient. I have not seen any stuffs but I found very messy hospitality toray which looked like someone ransacked. Clean but rather shabby accommodation

A perfectly adequate hotel for a stop-over for a weekend appointment. I arrived late evening on the Friday, my arrival having been delayed by traffic. The pin code procedures for unlocking front door and room worked well but there was no illumination in the porch so gaining entry after dark was an event. One of the disadvantages of having a "no staff after hours". Once in, the facilities were clean and adequate and I would be quite happy to use it again but it is not some where that I would use normally. The room was well fitted out and had 'fridge, cooker, and all normal/necessary fittings; however, although I was aware that at the weekends there were no staff, I understood that some basic facilities for breakfast would be left in the room. Tea, coffee and two biscuits is about as basic as one can get! My room was clean and thankfully my bed was very comfortable but I saw no staff through-out my stay although information before hand suggested there would be someone on duty over night. An interesting stay that, surprisingly, I would be prepared to repeat but next time I would be better prepared. Any recommendation to friends would be heavily caveated!

Beautiful house in classy,clean Cheltenham.Just a small problem checking in as I couldn't pick up email on day of arrival -would text give wider coverage?Glad I came.
