The staff were brilliant from moment one. The hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and plenty of it

Staff are amazing

Overall we had a lovely time. The place is just looking a bit tired and old fashioned. The decor is a mishmash of themes with some questionable colour choices and looking a bit rough round the edges. However finding a hotel that accommodates dogs is fantastic and location is great. Staff are friendly and you can tell thy work hard.

I think it has all the right attributes just maybe more attention to detail is needed.

The room, and general upkeep was top notch. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Smallest issue: The shower was not great. The water pressure was not ideal.

The hotel was ok. BUT needs to have better heating. The indoor pool was open but staff kept leaving to door open to outdoor pool. And if somebody shut it they opened it again and made the indoor pool cold. Changing area was still being refurbished so had to walk back to room in wet swimwear. The lounge area was cold and stopped doing hot drinks by 22.00 Reception was good and staffed well. Evening meal was served well.

Lovely hotel and so handy for the station opposite. I had a nice quiet room and I was delighted to have a bath as well as a shower. The decor was slightly dated but none the worse for that and I had everything I needed including plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed.. The staff were very pleasant and helpful

Bath was not clean l had to clean before l could use to clean it before l could use bath

The spa was shut and we only came for the spa!!!!!

Staff and location

The room was great, always is, very clean, has everything you need. Good view, staff are always very helpful. The staff in the bar and restaurant are brilliant 😁

The hotel was spotless and the staff very accommodating. Our meal in the restaurant was also very good and the service excellent. I loved the location!!!!! The only points to note are there should be a warning in the bathroom for the hot tap, it was so hot I nearly scalded myself. It would of been nice to have an extra blanket or cover of some sort as I was very cold in the night. Also there was no water in my room and I was told I would have to pay for some which I would of thought was my right to have free water in my room. I wasn't charged in the end but felt that I should not have had to argue over a few bottles of water. That being said, I would love to come back in the summer to experience the hotel, the view and the outside pool. I would not hesitate to recommend your hotel either. Thank you Julie Kelly

Everything fine except guests in room above very noisy until 4.30am and playing music and talking. No sleep and rest for weekend.Ruined lovely weekend on both nights for my birthday weekend. Informed reception on leaving but nothing resolved. No compensation or offer suggested. Have been to this hotel a few times previously and was fine and also stayed at suster hotel in Falmouth. Not a nice weekend and quite upset.
