Very nice staff and great food.

L’hébergement est situé quelques centaines de mètres seulement après la porte d’entrée du parc national Bocawina. Les quelques kilomètres de route non asphaltée pour accéder à l’accueil du parc sont une véritable immersion dans la jungle, nous avons même dû arrêter la voiture pour laisser le passage à un petit cerf. Les employés sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Plusieurs sentiers balisés débutent pratiquement au pied de la porte, dont celui menant à la justement célèbre Antelope Fall, que nous avons adoré avec nos enfants de 9 et 7 ans. Notre cabane était propre, très spacieuse, équipée d’une grande douche avec eau chaude. Elle avait un porche sur toute sa façade, équipé d’une moustiquaire permettant d’étirer la soirée sous les sons de la jungle. Tous les bâtiments sont établis au sein d’un superbe parc arboré. Les enfants ont adoré l’aire de jeux aménagée, particulièrement les 2 excitantes tyroliennes. Le seul bémol est le restaurant, unique option dans ce lieu isolé, qui pratique des prix beaucoup trop cher.

Food was very expensive for what it was. Standard price room was noisy at night (walls were very thin). It was clean and the staff were very friendly, but more could be done with the grounds eg sitting areas in different locations. On balance, probably not worth syaying when the activities (eg the amazing ziplining and the waterfalls) are within easy reach of accommodation along the Hummingbird Highway and beyond. It also felt odd to have to pay the park entrance fee when we were staying in the park - could have been included in the price of the hotel.

Staff very helpful and friendly

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful grounds. My wife is vegan and chef went above and beyond to ensure she had balanced and tasty meals. If you are interested in hiking the National Park this is the perfect place to stay.

I LOVED my stay at bocawina - the best staff, very accommodating & friendly! This resort is a little piece of heaven in Belize - it is not a fancy 5 star resort instead an eco-luxury resort where you can fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, go for peaceful walks in nature, or intense hikes, live on the wild side & zipline or go waterfall rappelling or even do a night hike! If you love nature you will love bocawina! I cannot wait to go back!

We came for the birds and were not disappointed!!! Great staff, food was average.

Our driver to and from the Dangriga airport was the standout for us. His name is Rio and he did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and also sharing his rich culture of the Garifuna community. We shared laughs, were told incredible stories about animal encounters, and were treated like family since the moment we landed. The staff at the resort was really helpful, friendly, and gave their best effort to meet all of our requests and answer our questions. We truly appreciate the time we spent there and we hope that the next lucky travelers feel the same. Thank you Bocawina!

Our stay at Bocawina rainforest resort was amazing! The staff was super friendly and it was beautiful. Brian was our server the whole time for breakfast lunch and dinner and he was fantastic. Ziplining was so fun and the falls are incredible. The food was also great

Absolutely amazing place. The staff were there and extremely friendly and personable. The food was delicious. I would give 10 stars for the service if I could.

No air conditioning and no pool. Would be great given the adventure opportunities and to have a place to cool off at the end of the day.

excellent hiking trails with waterfalls in the Mayflower Bocawina NP

First off Expedia did not take first payment like they had marked on our booking so when we got there we had to pay the full amount. Witch was double what we expected and that made it to were we could only eat a meal a day. Then the prices at the resort were not clear so things were more expensive. Dead insects on the floor generic frozen bagged food at top dollar like breaded chicken with a touch of sauce some rice a pasta salad was $26 usd not happy with this place. Just an all over joke of a place only beverage that you get with a meal is water nothing more. Being in a national park is nice but not when everything to do cost stupid money. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This resort is gorgeous! The staff is super helpful and friendly - the food is amazing - and the jungle delivers the most amazing wildlife and waterfall experiences! I added many new bird and wildlife species to my life list. We loved our time here!

Safe, clean and great staff.

I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff! Such a lovely group of people! Our room was clean and comfortable. LOVED the sound of the jungle critters day and night. Had some heavy rain moments, but it was refreshing and beautiful. Easy access to hiking trails with spectacular jungle views and waterfalls. The zip line was one of a kind! Highly recommend this resort for those looking for a jungle experience. Important tip: bug spray is a must! There are little black flies called botless flies that take a bite that is noticed but not painful, but the itching is irritating for days! Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

Beautiful out door!

Excellent spot for nature lovers and hikers

In general, I found it to be overpriced. The "suite" was not really a suite. No TV, no AC, no fridge. Very isolated -- you have to eat there and the food is expensive and charged in US $. The food in the buffet dinner was good but the breakfast was frankly bland and the coffee was not so good. The furnishings are a bit tired. The staff was very nice, accomodating, and friendly.

Hotel vraiment sale ( les draps tachés de partout)...les prix sont une folie sur place que ce soit pour les repas ou les activités et le pire j ai demander un prix pour une activité sur place il etais de 68$us par personne alors que par message on m as repondu 2 jours apres que j ai quitter l hotel que ca devais couter 95$us pour 5...aucune insonorisation vous pouvez suivre les discussion des voisins sans problèmes voir meme discuter avec eux....on a dormis dans la jungle a plusieurs autre endroits et c etais le seul qui etais decevant et tellemnt cher sur place.....
