We stayed at the hotel during Bastille Day. The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of it all. We enjoyed wonderful live entertainment in the restaurant downstairs, delicious food and drinks, and then strolled along the ocean walk to watch the spectacular fireworks display celebrating France’s national day. An unforgettable experience. Our room had a lovely view of the beach and a small fortress out in the sea. The room itself was in great condition with a very comfortable bed. The staff were both friendly and accommodating. On top of that, the hotel interior was stylish — above average, for sure. Highly recommended! Note: If you’re arriving by car, be aware that the streets are narrow, it can be crowded, and parking is limited. However, there’s an underground parking facility just nearby.

La camera è ben arredata, splendida la vista sul mare. Personale gentile . Ottima posizione, in centro e vicino al porto.

Great hotel with friendly staff and unique setting and decor, plus great location! Bonus: very unique place as Chateaubriand was born here.

The property is great. However, there was no safe storage to keep our cycles.

Great location. But NO PARKING. This needs to be made aware prior. Room was ok but dated for sure

Hôtel was fabulous but in the heatwave would have benefited from some form of cooling. Otherwise it was excellent

wunderschönes Hotel, direkt am Hafen und Strand

The hotel is right in the heart of the action - walking on the wall, dining, catching buses to other locales. Lovely accommodations. And thanks to the charming and fabulously helpful young woman at the desk, we were fortunate enough to get a window with a sea view!

Nous avons pris la chambre à 15h15 au lieu de 15h, mais à part ce detail, le séjour était formidable. L’hôtel est à proximité ( 5 minutes à pied) de toutes les activités et les meilleures adresses de Saint Malo. La chambre est spacieuse et le lit est confortable. Par contre il y avait un mariage organisé le Samedi avec de la musique jusqu’à une heure du matin au Rez de chaussée et notre chambre était juste en dessus au premier. Heureusement qu’on voulait pas dormir avant. Le petit déjeuner était bon avec beaucoup de choix au buffet mais pas forcément des spécialités locales. Il est possible de le réserver sur place et il coûte 15 euros/personne. J’ai apprécié la présence de toilettes dans les couloirs à meme à l’étage à proximité des chambres. L’hôtel et la chambres étaient nickel niveau propreté. Il y a un miroir que dans la salle de bain.

Amazing location but that’s about it. St Malo is a lovely place, highly recommended. But choose a different hotel. We arrived at check in time but our room was not ready. We were told someone would bring us our keys in 15 minutes and asked to wait. The sofa we waited on was very broken. After 20 minutes no one had come over to us, so I rejoined the check in queue. We were “upgraded” to a junior suite. The room was very stuffy, the carpet and walls stained. The bed was 2 singles out together but with a very hard big lump between the 2 mattresses. There was a thermostat and air con unit on the wall but when turning this on it came up with an error message. I went to reception to tell them and ask if they could fix it, but the answer was that the room we have does not have air con. I was able to get a small desk fan from them thankfully. The shower is over the middle of the bath at waist height, so not over head without holding it yourself. Furniture also stained & old. Rooms in much need of an upgrade. For £250 on our wedding anniversary it was quite disappointing for the hotel.

Petit déjeuner peu attrayant et peu fourni

Im Hotel war alles perfekt; sehr gute Lage, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal.Sauberes geräumiges Zimmer. Restaurant grundsätzlich gut, aber viel zu wenig Personal und daher (zu) lange Wartezeiten.

NO air con, very hot. Staff could be more helpful. Orgwewise a perfect spot to see St Malo

Bonne situation ,bâtiment historique mais hôtel nécessite un rafraîchissement car date un peu [ peinture usée , interrupteur salle de bain défectueux, paroi de baignoire non étanche bref une mise à niveau à faire) amélioration du confort des chambres et des équipements pas de Clim avec 35•..... le personnel est sympathique

Great hotel lovely room. The breakfast was not very good. The coffee machine was filthy. Stay far far away from the restaurant Le 5 which is on the rooftop. The service was horrendous. The waiter asked my husband if he wanted more bread, he said yes and gave him my son’s plate with the leftover bread on it. I ordered oysters and there were bits of shells in each, my main course baked fish was inedible. Very expensive too. Our room had a great view overlooking the water. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel. Just don’t eat there.

A very well located hotel with a very pleasant frobt desk. The room was very nice and clean although the carpet was a little tired. There was only a hand held shower in the bath which was a little disappointing

Par téléphone on m’a dissuadé de me rapprocher de l’hôtel afin d’y déposer mes bagages, on m’a conseillé de me garer au P+r Feval situé à 6 km de l’hôtel. Je précise que sur le site de l’hôtel il est indiqué qu’il y a un parking !!! Il n’est pas aisé de prendre les transports en commun avec un animal et tous les bagages… et que dire si nous avions un handicap moteur !!! Il fallut bien sûr récupérer la voiture le lendemain.
