This was a no-frills, simple hotel. It was a great value, and was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The staff were so kind, and laid back. The view from the patio in our room was lovely. The shared kitchen area was a nice place to cook a meal, and there were three adorable cats around the property who we loved petting. The location was great for exploring various parts of Pico.

Wonderful experience. My wife and I were staying on Pico for the night and was looking for a budget friendly option. It ended up turning into a romantic getaway for us. We would stay here again for the experience. Rooms are modern, clean, and pet friendly. Staff are friendly and accommodating to your needs. Highly recommend if you are on Pico.

Beautiful location with views of the ocean. Very helpful and attentive hosts who went out of their way to accommodate a late arrival and any requests. A rural setting and with humid conditions when we were there… we spotted the odd creepy crawly… not surprising. No dish washer.

The property at Pico Dreams – Sportfish has potential: the bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were excellent, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the lack of care from the staff. The kitchen, which is shared among guests, had no paper towels and no soap available. When I asked for these basics, the staff member said it would be taken care of “tomorrow” while she was busy potting a plant. That kind of attitude really shows a lack of attention to guests’ needs and to the workplace in general. Considering the price, which is already on the higher side, I expected much better service and attention to detail. While the bed was great, the careless management overshadowed the positives. I would recommend looking for another hotel in the area that takes guest comfort and service more seriously.

Journée de transition à Sao Roque avant de prendre le bateau le lendemain pour Velas. Accueil chaleureux, confort tout à fait correct. Se trouve à 10-15 min d'une "piscine" dans la mer qui est particulière et superbe pour se baigner. Patron Chaleureux qui nous a conduit au port, très agréable geste de sympathie. Merci

We had a truly lovely stay at this charming guesthouse. The owner and her husband are without a doubt the sweetest people we met during our trip. On the morning of our departure, her husband even offered, completely on his own initiative, to drive us to the ferry. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days and deserves to be recognized. The place itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout, with a beautiful common area where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploring. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property, it feels like a home, not just a rental. One of the highlights is the stunning view of Pico from the house. Waking up to that view each morning was a gift. Whether you’re enjoying your coffee outside or just soaking in the peace and quiet, the setting is perfect. Everything was well-organized, from check-in to check-out. The room was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and all the small details were in place. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in what they do and it shows. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming stay in the Azores.

Very friendly staff and check-in experience. We enjoyed the individual rooms with a common kitchen. Nice comfortable rooms with kitchen and large seating area inside and out with a view. Each room had a refrigerator area and cabinet shelf assigned for their use. Guests were respectful and kind and it was great to meet people from other countries in this unique hotel experience. We highly recommend Pico Dreams.

Amazing hotel, new renovated. The place is beautiful. Great pool rooms are beautifully decorated. The kitchen is available to cook. Convenient and easy walking area. The owners go above and beyond.

This did not live up to the reviews. Beautiful spot but a challenge to find someone to check in at 8pm ( they could put a sign at the front desk or provide instructions when the room is booked), the room was very warm and stuffy; the fan they provided barely worked and there was only one electrical outlet.

Super friendly and clean

It is a famil, running guesthouse. There is a very nice view of the ocean and Mt. Pico. The stuff is exttemly friendly and always prepared to help you. They are very helpful with advice. They alsk offer transfer. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful small property with pool and exceptionally friendly hosts! They provide lots of tips for activities and treks, and can provide affordable transfers. Highly recommended!

Heel vriendelijke gastheer die de nodige uitleg doet over mogelijke uitstappen en voor jou reserveert, indien nodig. Gedeelde keuken waar je alles mag gebruiken. Mooie ruime kamers, sommige vrij nieuw. Er wordt ook nog een deel bijgebouwd.Op sommige plaatsen op het terrein heb je een mooi zeezicht en zicht op de Pico.

Quartos, são novos mas com má insonorizarão. Embora estivesse como opção não estavam a servir pequeno almoço na nossa estadia. Não tem ar condicionado ( apanhávamos dias muito quentes ) . Tem uma cozinha comum noutro edifício com meia prateleira para cada quarto o que é pouco quando é que ele já deixou olhar pode gostava de saber se é muito bonito que se diz ele então pode ser tudo não pode ser tudo porque sem Deus que que salve dois e como já sabe não sei quantos e tudo o quiseres

The property was beautiful and close to the main road to get everywhere. The room was a nice size for 2 people although the beds were pushed together even though that wasn't what was requested. The room did smell a little like mold. The hosts were very nice and answered all our questions quickly. One negative that really affected my review was the no air conditioning. I understand that most of the area has no air conditioning, but the room only had a door with no screen. So to cool the room, we had to leave the door open which didn't feel 100% safe (especially at night) and which also let in bugs (and a cat once). We were gone for most of the day and with the humidity, the room was very stuffy and uncomfortable. I had to go out and buy a fan. I really liked the property but I would ask for a fan next time.

Wonderful location, in a quieter part of Pico than the much busier Magdalena area, but still with restaurants, supermarkets and banking machines easily available. Peaceful, with beautiful views of the ocean and Sao Jorge island. Shared kitchen is good for limited food preparation. There are some ants and other bugs around, but this is not unexpected for a place surrounded by nature and where the windows and doors are open most of the time. Rooms are small and basic, but come with individual outdoor patios and very nice shared areas. I did not use the pool or the free loaner bikes, but the washer and dryer were a godsend after hiking in the heat and humidity. Very good wifi. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. You have to tell them the day before if you want the 9 euro breakfast, but I would do it at least once. Huge selection of delicious items -- best meal I had in the Azores. There is a very nice ocean natural pool for swimming less than a kilometer walk, with showers and changing rooms.
