Nice hotel host, clean and well maintained room. Very close to ferry and train station.

Good location, very close to train station (6-min walk) and ferry (3-4 min walk) Staff is very nice and helpful. I need to catch the train in the morning. The staff helps to open the breakfast line earlier than usual. Plus, there is a variety of breakfast. Room is spacious than expected, clean and neat. Good value of money!

The hotel is not far from the train and the boat station. The breakfast is very good and the lady at front desk let us had it before breakfast time because we need to arrive the train station so early. We had to climb outdoor stairs before reaching our room, But it's O.K. because the stairs are wide our luggage are not so heavy.

Small hotel room but you can find everything you need. Great location!

We stayed in Room # 10, so our complaints are specific to that room. The room was small (not unusual for Italy, but they had put two twin beds together creating a large queen. The bed took up most of the space in the room. Little room to maneuver around the bed. Everything became tripping obstacles because there was so little space for anything else. Limited shelves, or table top space. The bathroom was dangerously crammed. In order to sit on the toilet, you had to stand, tuen and sit with your feet in the shower pan (which was slippery). The raised edges of the shower pan were a tripping hazard, the shower was tiny and dangerous. Outside of the room, there were tripping hazards in several common areas. This was not an inexpensive hotel and we elected to leave after two nights, losing our third night. The breakfast service was adequate at best.

Walls are thin but great for the price and location

The room was very small and basic. Important for people to know that this hotel is not located where views of the Lake are possible. There is no elevator and all rooms are above the reception level. Breakfast was not a huge spread, but was fresh, perfectly adequate, nicely presented, and maintained.

La pression touristique sur la ville de Varenna est trop grande .Le jeune monsieur qui nous a réceptionnées car on ne peut dire accueillies n’a aucun sens de l’accueil. Un matin à la salle du petit déjeuner j’attendais qu’une table vide soit débarrassée pour m’y installer , je m’adresse à lui en demandant , il me répond : dehors , sous entendant qu’il y avait 3 tables sur la rue dans le froid, ce que j’ignorais . Aucun autre commentaire de sa part , donc grossier .

The pillow cases were damp, but they replaced them right away.

This is a somewhat spartan, but clean and safe, small hotel. There is no view of the lake, but it is an easy walk to the lakefront. The property would have been improved by more ambient lighting, a better lock system for doors, tissues in the room, and another piece of furniture in the bathroom to lay toiletries and items on

Breakfast was nice. Train station to walk to the hotel was about fifteen minutes. Staff was amazing.

Bodde här i 2 nätter. Väldigt bra läge. Vi fick ett väldigt litet rum med rinnande kran och toalett där man satt med fötterna i duschen. Ingen plats för väskor. Vi fick byta rum till 2:a natten, till ett betydligt större och väldigt bra. Frukost var ok, men inte mer.

This hotel needs renovation and decorating. Lake Como is an expensive place to stay and this is at the cheaper end. Even so, the room was poorly laid out, the shower barely adequate with a torn curtain and the plumbing mean that the tap dripped all the time and the toilet gurgled as it was not filling up properly. Add to that, bread and biscuits that were out of date and mouldy as well as air conditioning that only works when it is 25c (so guests are allowed to be v uncomfortable at 24.5c) & you get an idea why I was v unimpressed. Even the pictures were crooked and don't get me started on the TV which was not fit for purpose. Outside of the hotel, Lake Como looks v scenic and is a lovely holiday destination

This hotel has a great location. You can walk to the ferry in two minutes and the train station in five. The staff was very friendly, especially reception desk, where Mateo and Julia were very helpful to us and answering our questions and coordinating things. Convenient and clean place to stay in the area is beautiful.

Great location near the train station. Sister hotel to the Park Hotel. We were able to use the Park Hotel outdoor pool, which is in a very nice park-like setting. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again.
