The view. Had my morning coffee on the balcony which looked out towards the lake, gardens and mountains. Room was clean and comfortable but would have been nice to have a microwave especially to heat up food for kids. Lots to do. The Grandsons were busy the whole day@!

Like many others, we have driven past this hotel many times before finally making it our destination. It was so worth it! The staff were all so wonderful, the property is well kept, there is so much to do, and our daughter had a blast. My husband left his wedding ring in the room and the staff found it, phoned us, and arranged to have it mailed back to us. Thank you so, so much to them for the lovely stay and for saving the day!

We had a loft style room. Clean and well maintained. Wonderful property. Beautiful views. Staff were all very helpful.

This is an amazing scenic location. We love the ghost town, the pool and lake views from every room. It is older but that is part of the charm. It is a quirky nostalgic spot. 10 years now and counting, we love our annual getaway.

There is no better property for a hotel, the lake, the views and the area are stunning!! The hotel and the rooms themselves are seriously outdated and are badly in need of a refresh. It’s too bad because it gives of jeckle and Hyde vibes as the property/lake is a 10 out of 10, but once inside the hotel it leaves a lot to be desired. Worth staying at once but not a place we would stay very often.

No wifi, no air conditioning, no microwave in rooms…swimming pools were dirty with no access of shower..overrated and overpriced

This was a stop off on a long road trip and wound up being one of my favourite places I stayed on the trip. I'd definitely go back for a couple of nights, it's nice and close to Revelstoke while having what feels like its own private lake. All the rooms have balconies and a view, so it was a great place to just relax. I really loved the indoor gardens too, as well as the outdoor ones. Only downside was lack of wifi in the rooms as I was travelling solo with no data so I was relying on wifi to keep in touch with family and making onward plans. But this was OK as it worked fine in the public areas. Thanks for a great stay!

A nice spot for an overnight stay but the rooms are getting a bit "tired" looking and the grounds need some maintenance. Lots of amenities for a family to do.

Depends what you are looking for. The property itself is in a beautiful location. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to get away from everything than this is your place. The rest of the hotel feels like it never left the 1990's. There is no in-room wifi. There is a tv, but it is hooked up to an antenna that connects to maybe 10 or so very fuzzy standard definition stations. There is no microwave in the room, and no free breakfast. No USB outlets in the room. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. The property is attached to a ghost town attraction and train ride. Some of the exhibits are fascinating and others look like someone's yard sale. It is a historic place and it appears that the owners are doing what they can with limited capitalization.

The property promises a lot but does not deliver on any of the amenities.

Our new go-to place whenever we're near Revelstoke! The property is absolutely beautiful and so unique. Both the hotel and our room were spotless, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and there was so much to do, from exploring the beautiful grounds to visiting the ghost town. We only booked one night and immediately wished we had stayed longer! A special shoutout to Rusty, the resident cat, who was a huge hit with our toddlers and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay with the family on a road trip. Property is cool with lots to explore and do.

The room had a nice view of the lake. Without AC (which I knew), the room was really hot to sleep in and the portable fan was useless. Restaurant meals are okay but service is crazy slow. I would not stay there again.

This place is a gem! Beautiful property and something interesting to look at in almost every nook of the place. Came with teenagers and even they were impressed by the collections in the ghost town. Highly recommend as a family getaway.

The place looks great . Has the smallest pool and hot tub in bc I think. . The rooms are loud as they allow dogs and you get to not sleep due to the excessive barking . Sounds like we stayed at a veterinarian clinic . Won’t stay again.

Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms and common areas clean and well kept. The vibe is always fantastic. All the fun things to do on site make it one of our favorite places to stay.
