Loved every aspect. Staff wonderful, room immaculate, food amazing, couldn't recommend highly enough

Warm and welcoming and friendly service l. The food and breakfast were really good. I loved the view from my room overlooking the harbor. Good bed, nice and freshly done bathroom with shower. Everything is spotless clean!!! The accommodation is close to everything. I really enjoyed my stay.

Perfect solution when passing through Penzance. An old tavern full of charm, a warm welcome, great food, clean room, and a view of the bay. Perfect.

Another really good nights sleep before onward travel. Evening meal was lovely with great service.

The history of the building, the modernised bedroom and bathroom, the atmosphere in the pub and dining areas all made this a memorable and comfortable visit. Very conveniently positioned for train station and Scillonian. Quite a bit of traffic on road below, but it didn’t disturb us very much.

After 14 hours travel we were greated with room, dinner and drinks. Just what we needed. Very friendly staf.

Dinning and parking very good

Nice place to stop in Cornwall. Location is good, staff were all very friendly and the accommodation was comfortable. I’d happily stay again.

Very nice room - clean and large with a great view over the harbour. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We arrived at 8.30 pm during the Godowan Festival when the pub was very busy but they found us a table and kept the kitchen open late to feed us. Also provided us a great cooked breakfast before the normal time as we had an early ferry. Few hotels would have been so flexible, friendly and accommodating.

Property was convenient to local sights. Staff was extraordinarily friendly and attentive. Food was good. Pleasant atmosphere and local color. Parking is a challenge.
