I was very impressed by the cleanliness of everything in the room and I loved the location. We were able to leave our bags there in the morning and pick them up at night when we were done with our day. Check in and check out was super simple And the breakfast was excellent.

The Leo House was an excellent choice for our long weekend in NYC. While the accommodations were modest, it truly provided everything we needed for a clean, safe and comfortable stay. It had simple, monastic touches throughout, which I personally loved. My favorite part about staying at The Leo House is the connection to 140 year-old tradition in the city. There might be more newer, modern and luxurious options available but preserving a piece of New York’s history and going back in time to be linked to a rich tradition is an important part of the NYC experience for us. I enjoyed the Catholic foundation of the house, with masses offered, a chapel, crucifixes in the room and Mother Teresa stayed there when she visited NYC. The staff were truly wonderful and the delicious complimentary breakfast each morning was such a treat (the coffee was excellent). We will book there again!

Very affordable for the location and they offer a free breakfast buffet that has good options. However, wifi and TV were not working in room for the entire stay (went to front desk multiple times and the issue was never resolved). The towels were also dirty when I first arrived. However, common areas are nice and staff are friendly.

Hotel histórico com boa localização é bom custo benefício. Um pouco antigo mas limpo e bem cuidado de modo geral. Uma desvantagem que é o banheiro que tem no quarto não tem chuveiro, só pia e privada. O café da manhã é bom. Os funcionários são bem atenciosos.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette ghest House. C est très bien placé dans le quartier de Chelsea, le métro est à 2 pas et le quartier est calme. Le petit déjeuner est très diversifié, copieux, complet et convient à tous. Le personnel est très sympathique et réactif . La chambre est simple, les lits sont confortables et la salle de bain commune toujours très propre. La cour intérieure est très agréable et fleurie. Je reviendrai avec plaisir dans cette ghest house et vous la conseille vivement. Un très bon rapport qualité prix .

We had a wonderful stay. It was our first time in New York and we picked a great hotel! All the staff were very kind and location of the hotel is perfect.

Nice people at reception and good breakfast but the room was too shabby and noisy (pipes , aircon noises..)

I like the historic building, the breakfast and the beautiful dining room.

The rooms were decent but there were issues with wifi and bathroom doors. You should only book if you need a place to keep your luggage while you explore the city

Accueil disponible 24/7, le personnel est très agréable et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est complet, de qualité et en abondance. La chambre était fonctionnelle, un peu étroite mais suffisante. Les lits étaient très confortables. La climatisation dans la chambre était parfaite pour un mois de juillet très chaud, mais un peu bruyante. Pas dérangé par le bruit de la rue, en revanche on entend les gens de la chambre d’à côté s’ils ne sont pas soucieux de ceux qui les entourent. La douche sur le palier était relativement propre, rien de rebutant. L’hôtel est bien localisé, à deux pas de tout, y compris du métro qui se trouve au bout de la rue. Le tout est assez ancien, mais je reviendrai avec plaisir dans cet hôtel.

The hotel is quirky at first glance but I ended up loving it. It was a quick walk from Moynahan train station. The breakfast was delicious. I felt safe and secure even though I was traveling alone. The food and shopping options close by helped me feel confident to head out in the evening.

Right on the corner with the subway, has many dinning choices and I felt very safe at any hour. Room was comfy and clean.

Very friendly staff make me fell safe traveling solo.
