All very good with friendly and helpful staff. Just a 5 to 7 minute walk into town and only £5 per night for their own car park. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. In particular, Ellie stood out for her exceptional service. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to ensure everything was smooth during my stay.

Couldn’t fault anything - room, bathroom, bed - everything was as you would expect but don’t always get. Even a fridge! We didn’t find the fridge as we’ve never had a hotel room with a fridge so wasn’t even looking for one! And the milk (fresh) was in it but we made do with black coffee 😄😄

Stay here quite regularly for work, everyone is always friendly, the room’s comfortable and the food is great too.

Just needed an overnight stay before an early morning appointment at Musgrove Park Hospital. This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. I am in a wheelchair, and although there was not a wheelchair accessible room available (it had already been booked), the staff found me a wonderful ground floor room that was totally suitable for my needs. The room was warm and comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was looking for another overnight stay in the town. Thank you very much to all staff concerned.

Bedroom was dated, bathroom was very dated and there was mould on the walls, bed was comfortable and we slept well although there were some blood spots on the duvet. Overall this a a restaurant with rooms as opposed to truly being a hotel.

I like the style and design of hotel, safe parking( its a shame that you have to pay) decor in bedroom 10 .needs attention to walls and ceiling, stains on carpet, loose toilet seat and stains on seat catches to toilet pan, ill fitting windows and drafty. But excellent heating warm. Reception ok. on check-in not very welcoming lack of conversation. I chose this hotel as my Daughter had stayed here.

Hotel entrance is very tight for your car. I was put in a room on the outside of the hotel. First night room was freezing and was told the heaters are on a timer but was given an electric plug in heater. I left early in the morning and as not in the main part had to walk round the outside of the main hotel by the road to come back in the car park. Not great especially if raining. Staff were very friendly

we were supposed to have booked a compact room but they gave us what is advertised as their single room. The bed is not fit dor a couple. We are very slim people and had an awfully uncomfortable night The room has iron board , good hair dryer and coffee facilities .A definite no no !

We chose a basic room but had everything we needed for an overnight stay to drop daughter off to Uni. Very nice hotel

An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample. All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value.
