The room was great

Title: Overpriced and Misleading Paid $2,000 for two nights and traveled from California, only to be moved to a secondary building behind the main hotel because they overbooked for the holiday. My "coastal" getaway turned into a view of a construction site in a conference center annex. No proactive communication from the staff regarding the room change. If you are looking for the flagship "Grand Hotel" experience, be wary—they may tuck you away in the back for the same premium price.

Escolhemos no site H.COM um quarto de luxo com vista lateral para o mar. Como sempre, acreditávamos fosse no prédio principal. Ao chegarmos fomos informados que constava a localização no prédio anexo, chamado "Fortunée". Ponderamos que a reserva era para o prédio principal, mais próximo ao mar e com as principais instalações, tanto que nela (reserva) não havia qualquer indicação de que fosse no prédio anexo, ao que consta só em funcionamento a partir de 2025. Insistimos e nos disseram que alguns sites, de má-fé, estavam oferecendo quartos como se fossem no prédio principal, nada especificando, mas seriam no anexo. Com nossa insistência ficaram de providenciar o mais breve nossa troca do anexo, onde ficamos 2 dias, para o principal, o que ocorreu e ficamos mais 9 dias. No prédio principal, melhor localizados, tudo foi ótimo, como há muitos anos nos hospedamos no excelente Grand Hotel. Quarto, equipe, piscina, parador, restaurantes etc. tudo perfeito.

En general, tiene una excelente estructura y servicio. Me decepcionó un poco que algunas habitaciones estén en otro edificio, lejos (a 5-7 minutos a pie) de la entrada principal del hotel. Las habitaciones tienen pocas comodidades; el minibar podría estar mejor surtido; es comparable a un hotel económico. Las piscinas son geniales, pero la cubierta siempre está llena de niños y es ruidosa. El gimnasio es razonable. La gran ventaja es el bar, con excelentes cócteles y aperitivos. Otro punto fuerte es el desayuno, con una amplia variedad de platos fríos, frutas y panes.

Yes, a few of the rooms in the front tower are kind of beat up around the edges.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, modern, and spacious even in the basic king room. Service was spectacular. The valet was terrific. The beach service was also amazing. A definite pleasure to stay there. Breakfast that was included with the hotel stay was alsoi very complete.

Hotél fantástico, equipe super atenciosa, em especial o Juan e o Tiago. Amamos a localização, o quarto, as opões de lazer (sauna e piscina coberta aquecida), a piscina externa linda e com bar, além do beach club próprio que está sendo construído na praia. Amamos!

Wonderful stay at this well located resort. I am from North America so had no idea what to expect. My check-in was flawless. A wonderful gal who studied at McGill in Canada took care of me. It was wonderful to hear a friendly Canadian voice. The breakfast was the best that I had in 15 days of travel in S America. The pool was beautiful. Rooms were spacious and 10/10 clean. The amenities for children are incredible. Highly recommend! P.S. I tried the rooftop restaurant for dinner but after I was seated no one came to my table for 15min to greet me or offer me a drink so I left and ate at the hotel lobby bar - great service there!
