Location and view

This is not a lodge at all, but a side of the highway motel. Restaurant and bar was not open. Rooms were poorly and cheaply decorated. This felt more like a motel 6. Staff was friendly and room was clean. But I would not stay here again. Pictures were very deceiving.

Room was clean, fairly bare bones but comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment. Would not advertise that the coffee & packaged Hostess danishes as “breakfast .

The access road is full of potholes. The toilet was loose ,but it was quiet, comfortable with a good ahower

A throwback to the 1970’s. Room was clean, clean linens. Perfect for overnight stop at a reasonable price. Very quiet place, but roadway to the lodge in desperate need of repair.

I paid through Hotels.com but was also charged an additional amount by the property. Very OLD and run down, not a good place to stay

Was fine for overnight stay. The beds were OK but needs to be refreshed as does the whole facility.

Great Location older hotel needs some updates. Road needs repaved around hotel very nice staff with free entertainment on Friday and Saturday night with full bar .breakfast only offers muffins and Danish with coffee no bottles of water for non coffee drinkers .overall good place to stay

Older facilities. Needs renovated. But, good rate and s place to sleep for yhe night.

Comfortable place to stay for the night. Beautiful scenery. Nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable.

Second time staying here. Only complaint is the driveway back to lodge. Large potholes. It is supposed to be no smoking but i did see many people with their doors open or sitting on deck smoking.

We got in late, but the restaurant was still serving. We ate in the bar, while a live band played in the connected dining room. Friendly bar staff, with the vibe of a neighborhood bar. They had no problem splitting a burger and fries for us. The menu made me wish we were staying longer! Clean room with plenty of chargers built into the bedside table. Great water pressure. Probably next time I will make sure to request a room on the 2nd floor, as I am a light sleeper and heard footsteps overhead after we’d turned in. Last time we stopped here on the way to the beach, we’d had weather getting there, and arrived near midnight. It’s off the beaten path, and we were a bit worried the first trip. This time it was still light, and the directions got us there easily. I’m glad to have arrived in time to partake of the local flavor this time. Looking forward to the next trip!
