If you need WiFi in your room in this hotel it will be better to be in the pool(stronger) but inside your room (306) weak

The hotel was very clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and rich with building aesthetics of period México. My only drawback would be if traveling with elderly or handicap they are limited in rooms that are leveled per staff. They do have an elevator but the top floor has a to get to some rooms outside of the elevator. Some of the rooms have a step down in the room. The breakfast is simply coffee and fruit bar and fruit. Other than that beautiful and clean. Would definitely come back!!

El a/c funciono bien, las habitaciones son tipo rusticas, hacen parecer que son antiguas.

Cuando llegue, ya estaba instalado en la habitación que me asignaron y me cambiaron a otra, en la otra habitación nunca agarró el internet del cual necesitaba bastante por mi trabajo, estuve hospedado 3 noches y nunca fueron a hacer el aseo ni a tender la cama. No hubo servicio de restaurant. Cuando uno iba caminando por el pasillo, este rechinaba mucho y se sumía dando la apariencia de que se iba a romper. Disculpen mis comentarios pero pues, es lo que puedo decir, saludos.

Por una situación de seguridad, no hubo transporte de Tijuana a Ensenada. Traté de cancelar la reservación y no pudo hacerse porque la reservación fue a través de Expedia y ellos no podían resolveral. No hubo forma de cancelar la reservación por Expedia. Muy mala experiencia, pero fue la última

Sometimes have a little consideration for elderly people, and not to focus on money, which I thought was the most important thing for them. I will come back to the hotel with my mom. I would not recommend this for elderly people that have issues with long distance walk

I was very disappointed with the accommodations for my mom because I request a room with no steps and I realize it is not for handicap friendly also, I request to switch ones that is less noise. The answer was I need to pay an extra charge for different rooms to accommodate my mom This abilities.

They charged a $50 deposit, which was actually $58, I checked in on a Saturday and they said the deposit would be returned when I checked out on Sunday. As of Monday night the deposit has not been returned. I have stayed at many hotels in Ensenada, that I have booked and paid in full through Expedia, a deposit has never been requested. I will not be staying at El Cid again due to this issue

Todo muy bien

This is a nice location it’s convenient. It’s in the middle of all the party scene bars and clubs near bye so it is not particularly quiet, but it is very comfortable and there is lots of shopping and restaurants option's. Parking is easy since it’s gated and secure.
