Really lovely staff, great room and breakfast!

Room was clean and quiet. TV was very small.

Great hotel, rooms were lovely & all staff from check in/out, to breakfast & dinner were really helpful & friendly. There were only 8 rooms in our part of the hotel so it was nice & peaceful. Would recommend paying for a space at the front of the property as the roads around the hotel were quite busy and narrow.

The hotel.com site showed parking available We booked on the day and the booking was nonrefundable. After booking we received the following email. Please book parking via the link below. We will send a confirmation of your parking choice within 24 hours of you completing the form, sooner if you're booking on the day, check your junk mail if you don't see it. If you delay completing the form till close to your arrival date off road or gated parking may not be available On arrival got off street parking at an additional charge of 10 pound. Had we known parking wasn’t always available we would have booked elsewhere.

Excellent room, brilliant value, secure hotel, nice area, incredible breakfast both full English and waffles. And for an evening meal, the gastro pub across the road had good beer and amazing food. Top experience, will visit again when back in Southsea.

Excellent location. Close tp the seafront and restuarants and bars. Hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic, will definitely book for dinner next time. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Wish i knew about this hotel on the other occasions i have stayed in Portsmouth/Southsea. Will definetely be booking again in the very near future.

Minor things but room should have facial tissue. Breakfast only includes one slice of toast which seems a bit odd. Carpets need refresh.

Cute, boutique hotel. Very clean. Restaurant onsite was convenient and food was delicious. Location was tucked back from the main road and walkable to multiple museums, restaurants and other local areas of interest.

Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. Kim who was on reception when we arrived was a standard bearer for the hotel group, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond when we required some direction assistance.

Nice hotel, located conveniently close to the sea front. Good food served at Breakfast in the restaurant. It was the small things that let it down, and stop me giving it an excellent rating. The two most notable:- Bathroom had no shelf space to unpack washbags -so no where to conveniently put toothbrush/paste. Minuscule cups provided for making tea/coffee in the room. Most of the space is filled with the tea bag so you dont get a proper drink. Small things I know, but you just end up thinking "the designer never used this room" Certainly not reasons to avoid the hotel -but it could be better.

Nice little hotel with good breakfast. Bed comfy. Bit of noise from the room upstairs. Overall very happy.

A 1 night stay at this well run establishment situated in a suburban street in Portsmouth. We opted for the secure gated parking, which was well worth doing. It is a safe well lit area about 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs in town and very convenient for The Kings Theatre where we were attending a comedy show. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly and the cooked breakfast was spot in. We would definitely stay again.
