The room had a bad smell, like bad ventilated with humidity. Had to open all windows and start air condition to improve the smell. My clothes caught a strong smell after being inside the wardrobe, not bad but strong, like spices or something. The air conditioning shows the temperature with very bright numbers that lit up the room at night and had to cover it with my shirt. Quite a calm area but you hear everything from the guest next door due to poor sound isolation.

Blijkbaar was dit een hotel met VIP: daar heb ik niks van gemerkt. Het hotel was allerchamanst. Oud gebouw en daardoor wat gehorig. De lift maakt een vreselijk en hard geluid als hij stopt op de eerste verdieping. Onze kamer zat daarnaast. Heel vervelend. Het raam had ook geen gordijnen, alleen vitrage. Verder een groene lamp in de kamer om de uitgang aan te gevend het was veel te licht in de kamer. Tegels liggen los in de vloer. Parkeergarage mega krap.

A great example place to visit and stay!

Älskar den mysiga atmosfären och gränderna, kommer gärna tillbaka. Litet rum men jättemysigt inrett. God frukost.

The public areas of the hotel are beautiful. The breakfast was good value and the staff really pleasant and helpful. Our room - double extra - was simple, although dark with only a small window. The bathroom was old fashioned but clean. Nice sunny rooftop terrace. Good value.

The location was great since everything is walkable in Cadiz. The staff was incredibly helpful and warm. The hotel is gorgeous and has lots of unique decor. The room was very clean.

It's a beautiful historic property that has been upgraded with modern amenities to provide a very luxurious experience. Very friendly and informative staff. Wonderful location.

This charming historic hotel was a great find in the city’s old town area. Nice lobby and breakfast area upon entry, great receptionists, decent size elevator (4-people with medium size luggage) and a relaxing rooftop terrace. Very centrally located for all the major sightseeing in Cadiz. The only minor issue was Parking which, even though they offer it with a Reservation, was impossible to locate due to narrow streets. My advice is to just park underground at Interparking Canalejas at entry to Cadiz and walk 5-mins.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff. Only downside was the room which was tiny to the extent that the washbasin was in the broad no room in the bathroom. Woolf stay again only if we were guaranteed a larger room

Todo bonito

This was a last minute booking in the old town in Cadiz. Travelling solo meant the options given to me were a single room which is fine except the bed was very small. I am not 6 ft but if you are paying €120 a night on the downside of the high season then at least offer a king single for travellers. Else in my opinion this was a €80-90 a night offering without b/fast and no air con. Location great with access direct into the old town and underground parking nearby at €25 for 24hours. It really was a lovely old building but its all about the bed in a hotel!!
