The first word that comes to mind is 'tired'. It is an older facility and it shows both inside and out. Great location for hiking, golf, biking and going to the beach. Decent facility for breakfast and positive people working there, but the breakfast is awful. Cut up boiled potatoes (not hash browns), a weird kind of sausage that I've only tasted in SE Asia, and plastic utensils with a paper plate. Linens were pilly and rough, but lots of towels. Only warm water in our second unit (we moved out of the first unit as there was a leaky pipe causing water puddles on the floor) so showers were not great. Water pressure in the first unit marginal and only slightly better in the second. Nice people but poor facility.

The breakfast menui was very good. The room was very comfortable, but the A/C was mediocre.

We loved our stay it Cavendish is central in PEI so it was perfect, the breakfast staff always made our mornings

We booked a "cottage" rather than the mainstream motel rooms. It was self-sufficient with a full kitchen. I would recommend and stay there again on a future visit to P.E.I. Only negative was - we had to walk across the grass to get to our particular cottage and it rained both arriving and leaving, so it wasn't easy to transport luggage. Location (Cavendish) was a perfect central location to start each day's exploration of the island. Hot breakfast (bacon, potatoes and scrambled egg) was a nice to have with bagels, toast, fruit and yoghurts available. One thing I would point out - the plastic bath mat needed to be replaced. It fell apart as we pulled it up out of the tub and a fix on the counter in the kitchen needed to be done. The veneer was peeling off on the cooker side. Overall - a great place to stay.

Clean room and good beds. Perfect location, close to a lot of the attractions. Very nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean but there was minimal hot water for a shower. The grounds and buildings were well maintained and clean. Very good location for restaurants, amusement parks, and walking to Cavendish Beach. We did not get a chance to try the pool. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, toast, coffee, juice. It was served to you rather than you pick up yourself. I would not want the breakfast, if I stayed there again. It was very greasy and left oil on the plate, even the scrambled eggs. The coffee was terrible. I would book there again but just skip the breakfast.

Loved the free breakfast. Very friendly staff. Good location.

Breakfast could have a few more options

The room and the beds were reasonably comfortable, although the bedding was sub-par. Not sure whether the bedspread was laundered between guests. Breakfast was terrible with poor quality, over cooked sausages that looked and tasted like pieces of hotdogs, very over cooked scrambled eggs and undercooked potatoes.

The room had a smell. The tub leaked. Had to run the water for a while to get hot water. The room and towels were clean though

It's OK for just one night stay while traveling. Tim Horton is across the road and a small shop mart is closed by.

We stayed in one of the bungalows. It was clean, but the foundation had sunk in middle. For a seasonal resort town establishment it was good. The hot breakfast was a nice addition.
