I stayed at this hotel on my way up to Colorado and before I left, I told them the backdoor did not lock. On my way back home ten days later the backdoor still did not lock. Having doors that lock is the basic safety requirement you owe your customers and this hotel owner/staff does not care about safety. I will be traveling through Clarendon in the future but I will choose a hotel in Childress or Amarillo.

Love the breakfast in the morning. A great way to get back on the road.

Beautiful property. Seems quite new. Nicest place we stayed while cross-crossing Texas.

This was a great stop between Fort Collins and Dallas. I was expecting more noise than I heard. They have a small but very nice fitness room with towels and bottles of water. I was in room 109, right next to the pool, and I couldn’t even hear the kids that were playing in the pool. I sometimes heard traffic outside, but very rarely, and generally it would just be the noise of people at the elevator that I would hear. This room is also right across from the elevator. The minifridge was the most annoying thing, but I just turned it off for the night. I might stop here again on the way back. Fair price for a nice property.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived late but the ease of checking in was amazing. The breakfast was very good. All of the staff were friendly.

It is a convenient stop on our way to Boulder. It is not fancy but it is clean, quiet and allows big dogs. I will definitely stay here again. The side door was having issues with locking. A few times I had to use my key but most of the time I was able to pull it open because it was not locked. That could definitely be a safety issue if undesirable individuals are able to get into the hotel due to a door that would not lock. I told the front desk clerk so hopefully it will be fixed ASAP.

Beds are a little soft, but otherwise great.

This is one of the cleanest, spacious and nice hotel I have ever stayed at.

The property was great and I love the decor!! Staff was super nice! You can hear the semi’s driving by at night at times.

Bed was SO comfortable, as were the pillows. Restaurants near by. Towels were nice and soft. Room was clean, and staff were very friendly.

Clean facilities, helpful and friendly staff

We stay at this hotel several times a year. This trip i noticed a few things that grossed me out. The main one being the floors in our room. To most, im sure the rooms looked clean but to a mom with a toddler whose in the floor a lot, it was obvious that it had been a long time since someone closed the bathroom door to clean the floor behind it or moved the chair in the room ro vaccume all around. Our room needed a deep clean for sure!!!!

Fantastic Stay, Highly Recommend!

Wonderful staff and clean beautiful place. If you have a pet, it is the perfect area for them to walk and play.

We stayed one night with our small dog. The additional rate for the dog was a very reasonable $20. The staff was extraordinarily friendly the room was immaculate, the bed was perfect firmness and there was a good selection of pillows. Breakfast was good, with waffles, premade omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits/gravy, fruit, muffins… There was a really nice coffee machine that brewed by the cup for cappuccino, espresso… plus coffee carafes. The breakfast manager was extremely attentive with everyone.

We checked in around 9 PM. There is a new front desk lady being trained. Both ladies were very nice. The room was number 109. The mirror on the door was broken so we brought it to their attention. They told us they knew about it, and that a luggage cart had bumped into it. There was a chunk of something on the sheet towards the top and the sheet was not all the way pulled onto the left side of the bed. I checked the bed and make sure the sheets are on. The floor had little bits of things that should’ve been cleaned up. There was a fake eyelash on the corner of the couch on the couch debris, such as dust on it. The bed was very uncomfortable sides were sunk down center was high pillows were flat.

This is a nice place to stay. It was clean and up to date, and the room was spacious and very comfortable.
