This place is old and run down. Pretty sure our neighbors lived there permanently, and they smoked heavily in their room. We could actually smell cigarette smoke in our room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and just in general didn’t feel like the room was clean. We were extremely surprised after reading the reviews that the property was in this condition. Normally Expedia reviews are pretty accurate.

The check in was friendly and breakfast was good, room was clean. The down side, the fan in the bathroom sounded like Mac Truck…..Loud & I mean Loud. The aircon unit is twenty years out of date and also made so much noise….. come on America you need to up date to new technology….. Great location and wonderful Chinese restaurant called the Lotus Garden up the street.

Convince was nice

We did not stay there! We had arrived early and knew check in was at 3:00. But the receptionist said “ I’m not checking anyone now. We totally understand the policy. Just wanted to get a recommendation for a coffee shop, and sites…well. That was the icing…and when we asked to please use the restroom, she took us to behind the desk to a restroom. Apparently the hotel does not have a guest bathroom. We got the feeling we were unconvincing her. That was the cherry! Needless to say, definitely not recommending stay there!

Cons: There was no Kleenix and the toilet papaer felt like it was just shredded and single ply only. the tv remote doesn't have an option for Close Caption. And there are no USB plug in anywhere in the room. That is so 1990's. Get some new lamps with the plugs! However, we enjoyed a good night's sleep and that's really all we wanted. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were wonderful if you like medium resistance, which I do, and you each get 2 king size.

Best part was probably the breakfast. Lots of choices. Other guests took all of the bananas, though - ha! It is an old style park at the door motel. Has been somewhat refurbished. Just don't have high expectations and you will be ok.

The room was clean, but was very outdated. The room smelled musty and the bathroom was extremely small.

The shower in the next room was SO loud. Bed was comfortable. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. We arrived at 7:30. No bacon, it arrived at 8 and it was all clumped up and fried to a crispy mess. The girl working didn’t care much for her job. It’s set up so we’re all bumping into each other, there was no flow. There’s no point in booking rooms with “free breakfasts”, just not worth the frustration and lack of quality.

Wonderful hotel, great location. Staff was so helpful. I will be back again whenever I’m in Pinetop.

Comfortable beds. Convenient parking outside our room.

Basic, clean, everything you need in a hotel room. Not exactly the most modern of anything, could use a bit of upgrades but in general, quiet, convenient, would cnsider this place again.

We arrived about an hour early. They did a great job getting our rooms ready early. So very much appreciated. They had a very nice breakfast, too. We like this location a lot.

The breakfast was lovely. The bed was kind of hard. The toilet was way to short.

Excellent service!

Very nice place. Only complaint is that the shower had quite a long hair stuck to the wall! 😳 Other than that, comfortable bed, cooling and heating worked well, great breakfast in the morning and very nice staff.
