お料理も美味しく大変満足でした！

A nice and charming old Japanese ryokan. People were nice and helpful. They drove us to the station the day we left. It’s a bit far away from the station to carry on the luggage. They provided an interesting Japanese style dinner and breakfast. Waiters were helpful as much as they could. The onsen was fine and a good experience after a long day. We booked a big room and it was fine. Just the beds a bit old. But we had a good rest anyway.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour sur Miyajima. L’accueil et le service étaient excellents. Nous avons enlevé une étoile pour les repas qui étaient juste corrects, diversifiés. Et pour la literie sur futons peu épais (malgré deux l’un sur l’autre et mon gabarit léger) Emplacement au calme, bains, service de navette de bagages et de personnes sont de vrais plus. Je conseille ;)

Parenthèse ideale pour dormir dans cette belle île

Tres bon accueil. Repas quantitatif et à base de poisson essentiellement. Grande chambre. Bien insonorisé.

Miyajima is beautiful and the property is in a pretty area. The hotel is older and has not been updated. We had the Japanese style room, which was not very comfortable. The futons were quite thin so we did not sleep well. (We stayed in a traditional Japanese room at a different hotel and we were comfortable.) The room was large however, and had a nice view of the forest. There was a refrigerator in the room. There is a hotel shuttle to the ferry terminal, it is small and fills up so book ahead if you want to use it. There is also a bus stop across the street (in front of the aquarium) that goes to the ferry terminal for 300 yen. We used the bus (van) which was quick and convenient.

Cogimos media pensión, la cena y el desayuno nos sorprendieron para muy bien. Estaba todo muy bueno. Además el personal tuvo especial atención con las alergias, y en todo momento dejaban muy claro lo que podia comer o no. Te hacian hasta arroz/sopa a parte y platos alternativos si hacía falta!

This is one of the older inns on Miyajima; however, the dedication of the staff, and the service and kindness they provided is top notch. In a way, this is not particularly unusual in Japan, where especially the older institutions still provide service and consideration far above expectation. Yes, the facilities are not new; however, they are of excellent quality, and have been well-maintained. Rooms are well-kept, and again, dated; however, I personally find this charming. This facility is what's written about in guide books. Books! Value was exceptional, and much effort was put into the ingredients, presentation, and service during dinner and breakfast. Take a moment to admire the cat-sized koi in the lobby. Hotel is a little walk past the Itsukushima Shrine, a stone's throw from the water, in a quieter residential part of town. Shuttle ride back to the ferry terminal was entertaining as it wove through the back streets of this otherwise busy tourist town. I look forward to returning.

Tucked away where the deer like to hide from the tourists. Our room was classic Japanese style tatami mat with futon with a stunning view of the brightest full moon. Highly recommend a night on Miyajima.

Very nice place

Amazing hotel. I stayed in a traditional Japanese style room with tatami mats and futons to lay out for bedding. The room had a forest view overlooking some beautiful trees and I even spotted a baboon coming out of the forest one morning while relaxing. Traditional dinner and breakfast is included. Dinner was several courses of delicious Japanese delicacies. Sushi, hot pot, too much to list. Breakfast was no less. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful with everything I needed. I believe they offer a shuttle service back to the ferry as I was offered one when I checked in. The next morning when checking out there was no mention of it, but I was pleased to enjoy the short walk back through the shopping areas and seeing the torii gate again anyway. I wound up spending the entire next day on the island climbing Mount Misen so skipping the shuttle was a blessing in disguise. I definitely recommend this hotel

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La qualité de service est au rendez. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner typiquement japonais sont délicieux. Merci pour le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du personnel qui nous a expliqué les différents plats proposés. L'hôtel est idéalement situé proche de l'aquarium.. un peu en retrait de l'agitation ambiante. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement du bain public qui était très s agréable après une bonne après-midi de marche.

Accueil très agréable. Possibilité de venir nous récupérer au ferry (et dépôt le jour du départ), de laisser ses bagages avant le Check-in ou après le Check-out. En prime, Tsuboi-san m'a aidé à mettre mon propre kimono que j'avais acheté plusieurs années avant et dont j'avais oublié la méthode pour la ceinture. Les bains étaient très bien aussi. Je reviendrai un jour avec ma conjointe pour lui faire découvrir

コインランドリーがない事、宿への送迎が予約制で利用できなかった事、フロントの男性が愛想がない事、以外はとても良かったです。 お値段が低めなのに、食事は多彩で、スタッフの方は皆良い方でありがたかったです。 建物が古く、トイレが和式が多めなので、部屋の洋式トイレを使用した方が良いかもしれません。

コスパがよかったです。施設は古いが清掃が行き届いており、スタッフもとても親切です。問題点として、外食できるところが少なく、共同トイレは和式でした。改修工事をすれば宿泊費が上がるので、難しいところです。

Super expérience. Pouvoir profiter des bains chauds dans l’hôtel est un vrai plus. Service de qualité. Les futons auraient pu être un peu plus epais pour plus de confort.

Stora rum, bra badrum. Härligt med japanskt spa (omsen) på hotellet. Väldigt varmt vatten. Intressant med japansk frukost och middag som ingick i priset när vi bodde här. Alla rätter passade dock inte våra svenska smaklökar. Men mycket mat, så vi behövde inte gå hungriga från målen. (Utom en av sönerna som föredrog att ta toast på stan istället.)
