Centrally located, comfortable room and GREAT food. Some Irish music in the bar one night. Love the connection to Herbert Hoover too. Staff helpful.

Historic hotel in an excellent location! Very clean rooms but slightly dated. Nevertheless, would not hesitate to stay there again.

The suites are a short walk from the Palace hotel and located right on a bus stop on one of Kalgoorlie's main streets. The rooms and fittings are of average condition and would benefit from a bench and sink to wash dishes etc.

Bathroom had bugs

Gammaldags, bra läge, flesta hotellen är gamka o små. Lägre standard som nan får leva med. Mycket historia flr intresserade.

Good sized room close to everything

We did not have a balcony even though we believed we had booked one. Bar staff were tired and indifferent. Charged us $57 for a cheap bottle of wine to take to our room as they dont have a bottle shop or take away sales. Huge cockroach in the shower was disturbing. When reported to the duty manager the following morning we were told "you are in the country, you have to expect that!" Stayed once before and it was great. Not this time however. How things have declined.

The balcony was very nice for a drink.

Comfortable rooms, historic building, Irish bar with good choice of meals.

Property was old. Which had a nice charm about it. Room was small but warm and cozy. Room itself was very clean and tidy but around the shower sealant was a lot of black mould. Would stay again . Overall good for the price.

The palace is a nice old building with parts of the building upgraded. No room wireless connection, had to go downstairs. The rooms are small, bit tight for two.

No secure parking, Car break ins were a bit of an issue

I liked it was original heritage property I didn’t like the long walk to room with suitcase up the staircase then the long corridor to get to room it wasn’t that convenient

The Balcony Restaurant food and staff was excellent. Hotel rooms old and tired, but bed was clean and comfortable. Some rooms not good

In a great location close to everything you need the restaurant has great food the staff are very helpful I would stay there again

Rooms are nothing like they are described and shown in the pictures on this site. I booked and paid extra for a 'refurbished queen' room. What I got was a 1990's decor room with a new bedspread! 2025 price for a 1990 room...
