Pool was really nice .. The parking situation needs to be managed .. No good to advertise parking if it is not allocated to a room .. hit n miss parking is not acceptable and would be the only reason for not rebooking at this venue on a future occasion

Our stay was quick and good for what we needed as just passing through. Staff were very helpful with late check in and organising breakfast orders for following morning. However room did appear a little dusty, light fitting above one of kids beds was also hanging out of wall and unfortunately our breakfast was cold by the time it arrived,

The motel is in a very convenient position to get to all places, including the hospital. I enjoyed my stay there and would come back any time.

My review is excellence in everything, it was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed at a lot of places, welcoming accomodating, friendly, the food was amazing. Thank you Mackay Resort for all that you done. Will be spreading the word xoxo

Good for night stop over

Great service for a sales person needing some freezer storage. Rooms are excellent for “office space” shower has excellent pressure. Bed is too soft for my liking.

The room was very good and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Of special note, we loved having a drink in the beautiful pool area. The restaurant does breakfast and this was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would happily come back.

Great little motel, warm, comfortable, close to everything . Was really impressed with extra blankets and heater in the room

The beds and pillows comfortable. Self check in on Sunday. The upstairs apartment 1 double bed and 1 single bed was spacious, 'looked clean', however dated and had a distinct old smell. The flannelette cover on the end of the bed created lots of loose black fluff and got onto our clothes. Removed from bed. Visable black fluff on the top bedsheet and carpet Better off without it. There was a blob of wet tissue in shower drain. Please explain? At first glaced i thought it was some white mould growing and took a photo. I opened the fridge and not sure when it was last cleaned. Jug of cold water i would not contemplate to drink. Nowadays most places offer complimentary sealed bottled water. Shouldn't the microwave be conveniently placed on the benchtop for guest use? Found the microwave underneath the cupboard which meant you will need to carry it out yourself and place on benchtop to use and when finish unplug and replace..theres a notice to say to replace things where you found them or incur extra charge. I took a look at the balcony and saw the floor had several large spots of beverage stains covered in dust. It does not appear this area gets cleaned. No, i would not return to stay nor recommend due to our 1 night experience

Spacious room for family of 4.

The property is great for what we need it for. 2nd time staying here however, the screen door on our room didn't close properly, the feature blankets at the end of the beds left black fluff all over our clothes and throughout the room. As we were in Mackay for work, when we arrived back at the accommodation late at night, there was never any car parks on site & we had to park down the road.

Family room was set up great for families. Quiet considering hotel was busy with guests. Very convenient and friendly staff.

Rooms dated and ours was noisy due to plumbing from above rooms

Front desk staff were good, the property looked good, the rooms while clean felt dated.

Staff was friendly and got our key from the lock box since we showed up after hours. On-site free parking, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The heater didn't work but there is a portable heater in the closet to use. Priced reasonable. Plenty to a shop and eat around the hotel. Nice pool. We would stay here again

Great place to stay, neat tidy and quiet

Very clean, kind staff I would like to mention that the walls weren’t very soundproof at all. I could hear basically everything from the rooms that were beside me.

We enjoyed every moment of the stay! We will be staying again worth the money! We liked how the kids had their own area with out having to have an extra room! Thank you
