The hotel has beautiful period furniture, lovely spacious rooms in a quite area that is a short walk to nearby train stations and restaurants.

I really wanted to like this place but I can’t get past how dirty I felt leaving. The building itself is lovely and has a lot of history just no upkeep to keep it clean. The blankets and bedspreads need to be washed and donated to a shelter for the winter they have water stains on them and stains in general just not something you want to pay money and sleep under, the beds need chucking on the tip you can feel every spring and have a hollow even when made up. The black cushion covers are gross, the window didn’t close properly and there were small cockroach's running everywhere. The place smells like mould and wet carpet rolled up in a walkway with a fan on it. The place has good bones, the dining area was dust free but I didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment. I hope the place gets the clean up it deserves because the location is quiet, good parking and rich history. But currently I felt like I slept in the same beds that were there when it was a nursing home/hospital and the floor mats need cleaning they could talk ! Sorry but it could be so much better.

Lovely house nice and clean

On first glance, loved the building, but it got even better when I entered. The lounge and dining rooms looked beautiful. The renovation was outstanding. Then on entering the bedroom I was delighted. Andrew was a wonderful host and did all he could for me. My only minor complaint was the wifi but I simply used by own hotspot. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay, close to cafe and restaurant. We had small issue with key but replaced and no further issue.

This accommodation sits in a gorgeous garden and the building itself is completely lovely. What wasn’t so nice was all the hairs we discovered on our sheets. Very ill indeed. The check in was a bit weird too.

Good clean place to stay. The share bathroom needs a good scrub with bleach, share kitchen is grubby.

Grand old residence converted to hotel. Very convenient for Olympic Site for concerts.

The grounds are really nice; would be great if there were a couple of benches. Rooms are great, but my airconditioner was a little noisy and the bathroom fan is terrible and really needs replacing.

We stayed for one night to go to a concert. The property was clean and tidy. Staff were very accommodating. Easy access with public transport as well as on site parking for whichever option you take. Close to restaurants too. Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel within easy walk of Strathfield bus and train station. Well managed. Most rooms with air conditioning and an en suite bathroom.

Large rooms and good value. Mainly selected for convenient location near Qudos arena and transport options.

No staff present, the WiFi didn’t work, and there were stains on the towels. Overall, a very average experience.
