I loved the attention to detail

Loved it. So peaceful and quiet. Very private rooms, looking out onto green grass and trees - such a nice escape from the city. Absolutely loved our three course meal - food came hot, steak cooked to perfection, the prawns were so yummy that some of our plates were suspiciously clean at the end. I really like having a big wardrobe so I can hang up clothes and not live out of the case, and it was even big enough to put the case away - so that was good. Thanks for having us!

David and Liz were extemely welcoming on arrival. Food provided was delightful and thoughtful. Loved the breakfast hamper and evening bed turn down with chocolates. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful and relaxing experience at this blissful lodge. The owners were super accommodating and plenty of activity’s to get upto. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Right from the onset the attention that we received was second to none. The room was spectacular and well appointed. We chose to have dinner with the owners and was treated to a personalized menu that was cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was noticeable and we had a awesome romantic night away. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

Wow! Most amazing stay we have had so far. 11/10 from us. Nothing could have been more perfect.

The room was divine, the meal was 5 star, and I don't want to tell anyone how good this place is because I want to be able to book anytime and go and sit at the edge of the river staring at the Night Herron's antics frequently!

We stayed 2 nights at Lazy River and were immediately surrounded by beauty and peace. Our days included afternoon siestas and kayak paddling and swimming in the river which was safe and clean. Steve and Liz were delightful and efficient. On our last balmy evening we arranged for our dinner to be served on our room verandah. Steve discussed the menu in advance and the meal was well cooked and great value.

Lovely food and Jacuzzi were highlights. Warm welcome.
