Great staff & amazing that it’s pet friendly!

The accommodation was antiquated and very disappointing. Holes in walls, broken handles and peeling paper on the walls. Beds did make you feel an itchy sensation, and the site had kids on small motorbikes [electric, we think] travelling in all directions around the site. The Wi-Fi was useless; to the management, please don't provide the ability to stream if the Wi-Fi is not adequate. This experience has made us question all Tasman Holiday Parks.

The rooms were clean, the facilities were clean. The kids loved the kids room. Love just a 2 minute walk to the beach..awesome sunrise

Hi The shower in B13 has been leaking so bad the bottom of the door and the wall is swollen from the water damage. The damage has been painted over so someone must be aware of the leak. The curtain basically hangs out over the shower base, and the lip in the shower is too shallow. We used up all the towels mopping up. Otherwise OK

Great Unit with everything you could need but unfortunately the water pressure in the shower is really bad and I had to wash my hair in the communal shower. A extra blanket for the bed in winter would be good. Think the Spa price for one is a little high though. Such lovely staff, really good and clean communal area's and easy to use Laundry. We would happily stay again

Staff were amazing.. However room cleanliness can be improved..Easy access 24/7 and late checkout option was a game changer.. will go back any time, nice property and fantastic staff..

We arrived very late, but the manager took us to our units. They were very comfortable and would recommend this property to everyone. Thanks for a great first night in NZ!

I was aware that the area is pet-friendly, but even so, the smell of dog urine was overwhelmingly strong, as if it had just been done. The bedding was damp to the point that it was hard to fall asleep, and the smell was so unpleasant that it gave me a headache. I think more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the room. That said, the staff I met were friendly.

Good location. Close to the beach to enjoy the beach activities. The room is clean and tidy.

Ok for the price but expensive activities like hot tub sauna go karts etc

Spacious clean accommodation. Friendly staff ...handy to Waihi Beach and shops. Lovely hot tub. Awesome place for a holiday. Highly recommended 😀😀😀

confusing until you understand there are two Tasman Holiday parks in Waihi. We stayed at Beachhaven which was very nice but did not have as many activities for the kids as the other Waihi Tasman campground e.g. pool, slides. Which we found booking through Expedia is not well explained or advertised clearly. We were though, treated well and the accommodation was excellent at Beachhaven

Great campground, clean and friendly staff

We arrived unknowingly at the other Tasman Park and gave our booking name and was given the codes and key to our room. After a shower and making dinner it was about 6 pm when the office girl come over and said we had other people with the same last name booked in our cabin and we had the wrong park and we had to leave. She even threatened us with calling the police and said we were trespassing on their property. After packing and leaving, and going to the other Tasman park a block away, the room had no toiletries, no towels and was nothing like the description on the booking site. An experience we never want to repeat. Staff at both parks were off handed and unhelpful.

Close to beach

Kitchen stainless bench-top had build-up of material in the draining grove's which had become solid & had never been cleaned for some considerable time. Space between the bathroom hand basin & mirror very narrow. No room for a side table on one side in the master bedroom.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ich hatte Glück, den Bungalow 13 zu bekommen, der in einer ruhigen Ecke lag. Insgesamt war es sehr ruhig in der Anlage, äußert angenehm. Der Bungalow geräumig, gut ausgestattet, top sauber. Das Bett mit super Liegekomfort. Die Töpfe habe ich nicht benutzt, bei beschichteten Pfannen, die zerkratzt sind, bin ich sehr heikel. Außerdem ist es mir nicht gelungen, den Gasherd einzuschalten. Da wäre eine Info gut gewesen. Die Fenster hinter dem Kopfende des Bettes ließen Zugluft durch, ich bin da sehr sensibel . Die Stühle auf der Terrasse habe ich nicht benutzt, denn sie waren nicht sauber und hässlich abgenutztes Plastik. Es gab auch nichts, wo man hätte Handtücher und Badebekleidung aufhängen und trocknen hatte konnen. Komisch für eine Ferienanlage am Strand.Die Anlage insgesamt hätte großes Potential, wenn man ein bisschen Ästhetik hinein bringen würde mit Bepflanzung. Es wirkte alles sehr minimalistisch. die Dusche für die vom Strand Kommenden müsste dringend saniert werden, scheußlich, stinkend, Auge und Nase beleidigend. Schade, dass da niemand ein Auge hat, die Anlage auch ästhetisch ansprechend zu machen.
