Good location, friendly staff, close to shopping and restaurants.

Great location. Walkable to the busy downtown area of Carmel.

Room close to the street is noisy

Easy check in and the facility is clean and reasonably well located. Main gripe is the bed AND the pillows are way more firm than what we are used to or see in most other hotels we stay in.

My wife and I loved our stay. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was spacious and we loved the huge fireplace which kept the room warm ( it was 53 degrees outside ). Its location was right in the heart of Carmel we walked everywhere. They provide shower essentials, breakfast included muffins, fruit cereal etc. very nice. I would definitely rebook here.

Beautiful property. Great location if visiting Bug sur or Carmel by sea. Staff is amazing. We booked a king with ocean view- huge room with a huge balcony that had it all. Loved the comfort and space.Also, big shout out to Frisco - he helped us in our hour of need. I Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever in the area.

My stay here was ok but not sure how it compares to alternative options. The room was clean, the location was great, check in service was easy, though the woman conducting the check in process was not very hospitable. The included breakfast is very skimpy and comparable to something you would expect from a low-fair chain hotel on the side of the highway. Having read previous reviews, I did not have high expectations, so ultimately, I was not disappointed. Parking is very tight, and I did end up scraping my rental car on a cement pole attempting to squeeze into a covered spot (and last spot) near my room - then moved to an alternative spot on the other side of the Inn - far from my room. I chose this Inn for its location and cost - as it was booked somewhat last minute. It was ok for a 1 night stay, but wouldn't give a high recommendation for a multiple day stay - as I would assume there are better alternatives.

Everything about this place was excellent and I will hopefully be returning soon.

Nothing unique! Wall heater old and noisy. Needed more soap for shower It is a nice, very basic place. The inn is old so you have thin walls, poor heating, but I would still recommend a OK rating.

Great location and helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable but dated. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. Overall, charming hotel and would book again.

very quiet and clean room

Overall the place is nice, clean. The only thing is that if you’re on the first floor, you can hear the noise upstairs.
