Lovely location. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast included was a help yourself in a self service galley kitchen. Difficult when everyone has to be out at 10am. Four different couples all trying to get in to as small. I can definitely recommend the Wandering Bear Cafe. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Great atmosphere. The manager has recently taken over, is fully aware of issues, therefore it's a work in progress and he welcomes feed back. We arrived at a difficult time. Congratulations on your new baby. We look forward to seeing the progress and would stay again.

Did not meet any staff. Check in isn’t until 4pm when the bar shuts …so pointless having it. Our stay was mid May so in season. No hoovering had been done… shower not clean. The bathroom radiator had wires showing. Basic breakfast. Over priced for facilities, cleanliness and breakfast.

Room was clean, functional and every thing worked as should, bathroom was spotless and plenty hot water and clean towels were pure white clean. There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which would also give bit more space in room. staff member was present when it happened and informed staff member on check out. Over all nice property great value for money and clean and functional.

Lots of parking , good WiFi and quiet . Lovely location but just needs a bit more attention . I was the only customer and the cleaner wizzed in before I arrived sadly not actually cleaning or removing rubbish from communal area . The bin in the kitchen was full and should have been emptied prior to my arrival . The radiator in my room didn’t work and although there was an oil filled radiator it’s not ideal in a small room due to risk of hitting yourself on it. I couldn’t find a hair dryer when I needed it on the morning of departure. The help yourself breakfast was ok although I’m not keen on using opened milk as you’re not certain how it’s been dealt with previously especially when it’s up on the day . I couldn’t see any drying cloths so had to leave items to drain as had previous occupant.

Overall our stay was good. I think we arrived before the season started so no cafe, rubbish being removed and resurfacing. The owners communicated about this once we arrived. Certain areas had not yet been revamped - areas of the bathroom notably.

Host gave us clear instructions to avoid construction on arrival and restaurant recommendations in a nearby town (the fish place was amazing!) Parking area was easy to navigate. Common area was nice to have but filled up quickly with small children in the evening. We could hear conversations through the wall of our room from the other side but we slept well. We didn’t get to try the cafe. Overall a good value.

Our stay was lovely. I especially liked the sitting/kitchen area. I have never seen this before. Gareth and Ann were really nice, even sorting out my phone. Would definitely recommend this stay.

Der Kontakt war per E-Mail super nett und Antworten kamen immer sehr schnell. Das Bett war leider ziemlich schmal für 2 Personen, aber sonst war das Zimmer gemütlich.

Lovely please. We checked in late but we had all the instructions left out for us and then a lady came to find us to tell us what was what. The rooms were very comfortable, lots of tea and coffee. And then the bonus, there was a shared area where they had free tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice, cereals. All for us to enjoy. Would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again, we will be staying here. Fantastic place

Superbe accueil! La chambre était petite mais très confortable. N'est-ce pas la définition de "cosy"? Notre hôte était à l'écoute. La partie commune est suffisamment grande et l'offre pour faire son petit déjeuner soi-même était formidable.
