The room we were given was not comparable to the one shown on Expedia booking site!
First the pros - convenient location to loads of restaurants, the metro station and several points of interest. The staff was pleasant enough, the hotel was clean and the lobby and dining area was lovely. We had breakfast at the hotel just one day during our stay and it was good.
Now the con - The room we were given was on the 6th floor (#627) and looked like it was more suited to the indentured servants that lived there in the 19th century, and certainly not a room that cost over $400/night! When I complained I was told that the hotel was booked and there were no other rooms available. The bed was pushed against one wall so if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, your choice is to climb over your partner or slide yourself down to the end of the bed. The bathroom was updated but very small - I would think if someone was on the heavier side they would have a hard time squeezing into the toilet area.
I've posted photos of the room as highlighted on the Expedia site and the room we were given.
