The hotel is beautiful and full of character, and the historic building is wonderfully decorated. However, I don’t feel the overall experience justified the price.
The room was comfortable, but there were several issues that need attention. The shower water pressure was very low, the TV only had local channels with no streaming options, and the room became very warm with limited ventilation. The hairdryer in the laundry room was also broken.
My biggest disappointment was that dogs are only allowed in the rooms and not in the restaurant or pub. As a dog owner, this meant I couldn’t make full use of the hotel’s facilities.
Overall, a lovely building, but I think some modernisation and maintenance improvements are needed to match the price point.
