Good and secure parking, we arrived on motorcycles. Staff very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable, there was though a small staircase to the bathroom which may not suit some people. The bed was large and comfortable. Due to the shape of the old building, access to my room was up and down sets of stairs and through numerous doors which could be an issue for old or infirm persons. No porters available to take bags. Carpet in the dining room was worn creating bumps that could become a trip hazard to some.

Wonderful hotel within a few minutes walking distance of the centre of Truro. Everything is done just right - a real home from home.

Great location, quite. Loads of parking. Lonely big rooms, lovely breakfast with a nice selection.

Almost everything was excellent in our stay - parking, reception, staff, bar, breakfast all first class. Our room had a wonderful bathroom but the room itself was yet to be refurbished and was rather tired looking. Would definitely book another stay.

We have visited before this was another return to a lovely comfortable hotel , parking is straightforward and not far from reception, staff are always helpful and happy ,room and amenities in the room were spot on ,will be visiting again..

Rock hard pillows, uncomfortable poor mattress for sons separate bed for ages up to 17, he is 16, yellow staining around shower rim, filthy shower waste. Breakfast had to wait ages for service, then had to keep prompting staff for follow up service, staff appeared subdued, tired, layhargic, we waited over an hour to get hot food, upon arrival in restaurant tables were left piled with dirty dishes, when we asked a staff member after an hour where our hot food was, he simply said "there's a back log" - no apology, no nothing, even a smile or an offer of a hot drink would have been nice. Very poor attitude from him . Sad because the waitress who took our order was warm and hospitable. When food eventually arrived it was cold, dry, and over cooked. Not worth the money or the wait. Such a disappointing shame. Told receptionist on way out about our experience, the reply came "unfortunately the extra beds in room are for children (my son is just 16), and we are sorry about the breakfast, and will make sure this is fed back. We said thank you and left.

Staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The window frames could do with some bleach. The breakfast was good. The building is amazing. It is also a comfortable walk to the centre. We really enjoyed our stay.
