Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, showing us where to park. The cooler breakfast was really nice. The room was absolutely boiling and even with the windows open all evening it was a poor nights sleep. No aircon and only a little fan. Very firm mattress but it realise this is preference. My husband loved it but I didn’t sleep at all. Close to amenities and nice and quiet. Overall would stay again.

Positives: Centrally located, parking and breakfast included, good range of options on both the breakfast and evening menu Negatives: I stayed during a period of warm weather and found the room incredibly hot. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room so had to make do with a fan. It was slightly disappointing that at breakfast it was squash rather than juice being served, and there was no option to have a Latte or Capuccino-just regular filter coffee.

Hotel was spotless. Having it's own car park was great. Staff were excellent, especially in the breakfast room. Ladies wrapped our breakfast up so we didn't miss our Easter egg hunt! Nothing was too much trouble. Great price for what you get. Thank you for a lovely stay. Will definitely be back.

We stayed twice to break our journey in half, both time all the staff we encountered was super nice. The room we stayed in was very comfortable quiet and as described, we ha dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the breakfast the next day was fabulous!

Lovely breakfast

Really enjoyed our stay at the Lounge Hotel Penrith. Stayed in a family room with a toddler and baby, we had plenty of space. Great options for everybody at breakfast and the cooked breakfast is delicious. Helpful and friendly staff that go above and beyond, such as giving us some milk at the nighttime for my son. Only downside was no lift to get our double pram up to the hotel room, but wasn’t a big deal or inconvenience to us and we just folded and carried it up the stairs. Would highly recommend and would book again in the future

Lovely family room and staff were all wonderful

Our room was wonderful. The three bedroom room was so spacious. Totally appreciated having a second toilet. Breakfast was great. Lots of delicious options. Parking was our only struggle - small lot/big car. Quaint historical area.

We had to park in a double lane because it wasn't clear where to park in order to get inside the hotel and obtain the QR code for directions. Upon entering, we were greeted by an unwell person who was coughing constantly. In our room, we noticed we were missing one bath towel, so we had to go downstairs and wait a long time for assistance. When I tried to make a coffee in the room, I found that the saucers were dirty from the previous guests, and the water glasses were sticky. Additionally, the glass water bottle provided for guests was empty on the table. My son even discovered some rubbish in the drawer. While everything was eventually resolved, after a long journey and a day out with the kids, all I wanted was to go to sleep.scovered some rubbish in the drawer. What a fantastic Hotel pleasure to stay here all modern furniture and comfortable beds. Staff were great too couldn’t do enough for you and a great full English breakfast. Definitely be back

Everything was excellent except why was tge heating on in the corridors far to hot permeating tgrough to bedrooms

Our room was hot, uncomfortably hot. It also faced the high street road and so it was hot and noisy. The mattress was horrible unless you like sinking in a bed. Big miss for me. I would not stay there again.

Would definitely stay again if passing through. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. The shower was also good. Free breakfast was big, delicious and customisable.

Excellent for an overnight stay. Comfortable room, nice breakfast and service.
