Very spacious room with very spacious bathroom and just one tiny radiator. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold.

Paid for king size room and was given a double Receptionist said a mistake was made and somone was in the room I had booked so had to downgrade me. No help was given to accommodate my needs when asked.

Room was chilly and could hear the traffic noise very well. Table lamp didn't work. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast started too late on Sunday at 8am.

Had to wait for checking as staff in the toilet and the person there could not check us in ( staff do need toilet breaks ). Went to the room where the window would not shut so cold and drafty 303. Got moved to 309 which was better but to did not work and no one till Monday could fix it. Not ideal as we had time to kill before heading out. Went to the bar for a meal to be told some Nigeria’s about a token for Sunday about food (this was Saturday ) the truth is there was no food service at the bar. Breakfast was another disaster as put my order I. Then to be told we don’t have certain items, best practice would be to inform guests before they order, plate arrived and asked can I get you anything else and my reply was “ yes the other items of breakfast I ordered” and was offered an apology and the reasoning was it was early and guests arrived together. In fairness the staff were seeet but required a lot of training and guidance which at the end of the day lies with best western. Wong return and definitely not worth the price we paid

Hotel is more traditional looking, lots of original fittings and woodwork. Staff attentive and food good! Room was clean and quiet!

Check in staff excellent. Disappointed that despite notice saying food all day no food available in bad at 8.30pm. Clients internet did not work . When the password to join was entered it immediately told me that the system could not be found. Ok for a one night stay but not if you are staying longer

Staff were always friendly and helpful.

We had a friendly welcome to the hotel and enjoyed our over night stay. The hotel is a grand old lady which. Is dated but well maintained. Our compact room had good views over the Tay and was well equipped. The bed was comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. The breakfast had a good selection and I like getting a pot of coffee. It made a good base for seeing Dundee.

Great parking available. Disappointed in food, the year before i could stay in hotel for a meal, as a lone traveller this was my preferred option, however they no longer serve meals in the eatery. Room information is oit of date as it promotes the eatery. Breakfast was supposed to be from menu, however was buffet with food uncovered and served in salad tins sitting on a hot plate. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Best thing about this property was the parking.
