Staying in a converted monastery was such a unique and memorable experience. As soon as I walked in, the church-like atmosphere was striking and gave the hotel a very special character. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although the fluorescent-style lighting was a bit too harsh for the eyes.
I had been looking forward to dinner at the hotel, as I had heard it was excellent. Unfortunately, because of a wedding, I was told it would not be available, and no alternative arrangements for hotel guests were provided. This was quite disappointing. The following morning, I had to check out early at 6:00 a.m., so I couldn’t enjoy breakfast, and when I asked for some water at the front desk, I was told there was none, which also left me a little disappointed.
That being said, the hotel’s interior design and atmosphere are truly beautiful, and it is definitely a place worth visiting at least once.
