All good no complaints

We were issued with a Studio room, on the first floor overlooking a small section of the golf course, The size of the room for the four of us (two adults, two teenagers) was more than adequate! We had a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher. Also the room included a very large dining table and sufficient space for us to move around in, Overall the cleanliness and condition of utilities was excellent and well kept. On the negative side, the lack of air conditioning in the room was definitely noticeable, during our stay, Granted the weather was particularly hot that weekend (30 °C) and our west-facing room got really warm during the day. Luckily the large balcony was a nice retreat and the large doors helped to air the room out. The double bed for the parents, was perfectly fine and comfortable, but the double pull-out couch that our teens (12 & 15) needed to share was was a bit small, cramped and uncomfortable; would have been better to have two singles, Finally, there was indeed a lack of wardrobe space in the room, this could easily be improved upon, Otherwise, very happy with the hotel, the location with sufficient parking and the friendly staff. Would we stay here again? Definitely.

Very polite, friendly and welcoming staff member at check-in. She upgraded our room and put us near our family without us requesting and it made a lot of difference to our stay. Easy parking.

Enjoyed our stay, disappointed there was no air conditioning in room when it was on details on the room before we booked. We appreciated the fan but not quite the same as air con.

No lift to the 3rd floor, instead have a narrow staircase to navigate, not suitable for elderly or with suitcases

Additionally, elevator access is limited to the first floor, requiring guests to use a steep second flight of stairs, which may present a challenge for elderly individuals..

Great base to explore the Cotswolds from. Superb rooms, bar is not over priced and the facilities are excellent

Beautiful room, everything you need. Balcony was a lovely addition. Helpful staff

Staff all multicultural so don’t understand or haven’t been trained properly in the “spa” Hotel setting, Rooms dirty and need updating. Food is bland and expensive, chef had learning difficulties and just kept shouting. Staff actively turning people around so they couldn’t get in the supposed “ Ala Carte “ restaurant. Food states from 12:30 but couldn’t get any until 6pm, walls and floors and thin so can hear everything. Paid 6.50 for soup of the day and was served in a mug. I stayed in a premier inn the night before and that was far better. Don’t go here thinking it’s a spa hotel, there are no spa facilities at all.

The room was very spacious and clean. It only missed air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent either way plenty of choices

The room we had was upgraded slightly which was nice . The room cleanliness was lovely and clean and housekeeping staff need to be praised. The only issue I had was lack of communication with the emails I had been sending and not being answered and when they did and wrote a reply again no answer. Staff need better communication when emails are sent and also training on how to respond. The messages that I was sent last night from them basically made me out to be a liar . Due to this i wouldn’t stay here again .

The hotel is mainly for golfers but rooms are very adequate. For us it was just what we wanted nice quiet modern hotel .

Amazing view

Fabulous hotel, the Grand double room was amazing and felt like a real bit of luxury. We had breakfast both days and that was very nice. Helpful and friendly staff, all in all a great stay and I would recommend it.

Only problem we had was evening meal not the best did tell staff but very little reaction thought they might have a little more

The room was spacious, although the staircase was very tight to carry even a small suitcase up. The beds were fairly hard and sprung and the pillows were extremely hard. The lock did not work on the balcony. But the staff at the reception desk were very nice.
