nice and quiet, good food and good staff

A very friendly welcome by all the staff, on a busy Easter weekend when they were all rushed off their feet. The room was very comfy, lovely large bed. The floors were a little creaky but it's an old building so to be expected. Lunch was very tasty, homecooked food, plenty of variety.

Not for me. Sandwiched between a busy road and a huge agricultural shed. Rooms are renovated but elsewhere it’s really tired (the carpets downstairs are pretty gross). Lovely staff, but no.

Lovely inn, beautiful room, very efficient, friendly staff.

Lovely stay. Hotel was clean and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The menu was varied with lots of gluten free options.

Best place to stay in the area. Rooms are really well decorated, very comfortable and the food is great

Amazing stay. Rooms were furnished really well, great size. Bed was super comfortable. All the staff were super welcoming and the breakfast and dinner were both delicious and reasonably priced. Great value and definitely the best stay in the area.

The room was nice, clean and the shower great. My only complaint was the room being uncomfortably hot, everything else was very good.

The property itself is a beautiful old Inn, offering large rooms and with a very well-mannered young staff. However, it is grossly overpriced for what if offers, aka an Inn in the middle of nowhere. £120 for one room (we've been given the £110 room for some reason) n-o-t including breakfast, and a £15 pound surcharge for dogs which is not disclosed on Expedia. So all in all £135. Dinner was good but management needs to do some work on the main fireplace, as the air near it was hardly breathable and that can become a health hazard not just for the clients but mainly for the poor lads behind the counter. The heating in our room's bathroom was not working, nor was hot water from the overhead rain shower. The garden is literally filled with dog poop. Advise to management, I hope part of my £120 will be used to better maintain such a beautiful property.

Fantastic old building, with amazing food and brilliant friendly staff. This was our 2nd stay this year, and we hope to return next year too.

Excellent, prompt professional staff. Room was tastefully decorated and spacious with comfortable bed and lovely toiletries. Delicious breakfast too with some unusual additions to stand out from the usual full english offering etc. Our 2nd visit and we hope to return again soon !!

Just amazing experience near Coningsby. Super friendly owner of the Inn and charming personal for the breakfast service as well as in the pub. The food was great as well, especially the pie that for saved for me 😉 Worth a stay!!!

It was a well run property, with all that we needed for a short stay while visiting relatives in the area. The room was cleaned and made up everyday with a lovely tea tray. The only reccomendations we would make would be a few small maintenance issues needing some attention to detail.
