incredible view over the Lucca valley from the hotel

We had a great stay; however, we did find a bit of a difficulty to communicate (language barrier) with the front desk person that works the evening hours. Other than that, staff was great, breakfast was delicious, the room was huge and the views were worth the trip. Greatly recommended!

Magnificent views, excellent property. Very friendly personal. Great breakfast. However dinner as a matter of personal preference would recommend at Vecchia Osteria Da Batano just 1 min away driving or 3 min of walking

Everything about this hotel was exactly as it was advertised to be, including being 5 minutes walk away from the Casale de' Pasquinelli where we had a wedding to attend. Best thing about it though was the staff, every single one of them, but especially Elisa, who were every so helpful in every matter. The only (minor) minus to an all round 5 star was the temporarily closed restaurant due to staff sickness.

Sehr nette Hotelmittarbeiter. Das Essen super lecker + das ganze drum herum. Pool super, Frühstück super. Ausicht super. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit und immer sehr freundlich. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten waren nicht so schön.... Aber auch nicht dramatisch. Alles super Gut :-)

Es un hotel que se anuncia como exclusivo y rústico pero desde luego no vale la pena el dinero que se pide ni cumple con las expectativas del que lo contrata. La habitación que nos alojamos era una buhardilla muy pequeña y muy incómoda, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Los propietarios del hotel solo son amables cuando pagas, cuando les pides ayuda porque no va el aire dejan de serlo. El restaurante es extremadamente caro para lo que ofrece, las raciones no son ninguna maravilla y son muy pequeñas. La carretera para llegar al hotel es mu mala tambien y te quedas aislado en la montaña. En definitiva nos arrepentimos mucho de habernos alojado alli.

Fantastiskt bemötande och hög klass på maten.

What a beautiful place! I was with my 19-yr-old daughter and everything was just perfect! The scenery is breathtaking, just 15 min drive to Lucca which is a must-see! Gastone, the owner made us feel special and that is what you want when on vacation! Also, ask to visit the Goat cheese farm which is just 2 min from the hotel.

Wind up the Tuscan roads to reveal a sweet little getaway. Staff is very friendly and views are spectacular. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet and food is phenomenal. We had the pool all to ourselves and the restaurant gets very busy at night, so make a reservation! This is a RELAXING getaway, calm and quiet. Only stayed here 1 night and wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back and highly recommended!

this place is absolutely incredible!!! we spent 2 nights here and did not want to leave. we were fortunate to have a room with a patio so we were able to have wine and a cheese plate while watching the sun go down right from our room. the service was incredible.
