great stay!

Amazing hotel inside and out, but the property around is full of crackheads. Every time I stay there, I get harassed by some when I get out to walk around. This time it was raining and I quickly ran from the hotel to Joey Rideau (restaurant nearby), a homeless crackhead started running after me. I confronted him and he crossed the street, running away. I walk another half a mile and a homeless woman starts running towards me telling me to give her some money. When I get back, two young women start shouting at me to give them bus money. Will never go back to Andaz until the city cleans up that area.

I loved the property and area however the parking was difficult to use and the construction next door was non stop. The valet parking was affected by the construction as well. No fault of the hotel. Will definitely go back but maybe once construction is finished!

Would like to come back when Reno’s are done. Staff was great!!

Very clean and offers an excellent location close to everything in the Byward market. We were told about the construction ahead of time. Disappointing that the rooftop bar does not offer any food or hot beverages like tea or coffee.

Construction noise was constant.

Not great, no parking, no advertissements on the website about the lousy construction! And dirty rooms with dirty kleenexes

Very well situâtes,close to tge market and major stores. Walking distance to tge parlement building and Muséum of fine arts.

LOUD CONSTRUCTION directly behind the property, literally almost attached to the building FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. From 7:30am-7pm there is a constant, LOUD TAPPING/BANGING sound all over the building, it doesn't matter what floor, what room- even in the hallways by the elevator, I took video as I was appauled. There was no mention of this massive inconvenience on the hotels.com site, nor on the Andaz website, they mention it AFTER you check in, when getting your room keys. I'm torn about this part, as it could be food insecurity, but whoever cleaned my room also helped themselves to my protein bar, obviously without asking. I only decided to mention this part as the "manager" Sofia literally didn't care about what happened, and told me I should have called housekeeping instead- NO APOLOGY at all. Do better.

Hello! Staff was really really nice, and the experience would have been great had it not been for the construction happening. I do feel pretty disappointed that we were not warned that this was happening beforehand (I would have booked a different hotel). We came from a day at the spa, and were ready to rest and veg out at the hotel, but the construction sounded like it was happening inside the hotel and was beyond loud that it forced us to leave and not hangout at the hotel. I also feel like we should have been provided a discount for having been warned, and having to put up with such an unpleasant atmosphere.

Good overall. Too many vagrants around on the outside. This is a turn off.

Great location - walkable to Parliament, Byward Market, Museums and Galleries. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Quick to help and offer advice and services. The breakfast was exceptional. We didnt expect the "included-breakfast" to be credit for meals at the onsite restaurant. The menu was big with lots of options and portions were very good. Valet service was quick and secure. Easy to contact them to bring car when needed.

Well, when I stepped into the bathroom, I was greeted with a coach roache I had to kill. As I brushed my teeth more came running out. In the folded bath towel there was a long jet black hair. The room was filthy. I had two nights booked, but we are out of there. I was told by the front desk to contact Expedia to see about a refund...

It is a very nice hotel. Within walking distance of many good restaurants and drink establishments!

This is a first class hotel. Clean, central, modern, accommodating. We stayed in other hotels in Ottawa - nothing comes even close. Excellent customer service (predominantly Ryan!)

Nice hotel! Very conveniently located next to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas and cafés hotel has no parking or any private parking so you need to park around

Super emplacement. Personnel avenant et disponible pour répondre à toutes les questons. Bruyant à la sortie des bar. La terrasse n'est ouverte que lorsque le resto est ouvert.
