Everything was fine. However we aren't used to small spaces before. And while staying in the room we felt a bit cramped. Although we knew about this in advance-we had read about small spaces in Japanese hotels in magazine before our trip to Japan. One the other hand, we loved traditional atmosphere.

Loved everything! Really friendly and approachable owner who cooked fresh breakfast and helped me out with places to check out and explore in Kyoto! Ensure I was comfortable!

快速が停車する駅から近くてお車で行く際にも近くに24時間5.6百円台のコインパーキングや20-8が夜間最大200円と7時から提供される朝食を食べて出るにも大変便利な場所です。

Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home.

Tommy- what a host!! Guy was super nice, tried to be as accommodating as possible… had I been better prepared, mentally, maybe even read what I was getting into, 10s across the board. I am a hotel traditionalist… but now I can say- been there! Lol, thank you again!!! Kudos!

毎朝のサンドイッチ、無料の飲み物が嬉しい反面24時間オープンなのは少し不安でした。二階に上がるのに急な階段なので個室利用の方は大変かと思います。ドミトリーは一階で便利でした。ドミトリー部屋のドアにも鍵はなく、貴重品は鍵付きの小さいロッカーに入れます。部屋が狭いので荷物の整理などは少し工夫が必要です。

English speaking owner very focussed on guest comfort. Simple traditional guest house accommodation, tatami mats & futon bedding very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to train and bus, 20 minute walk to Nijo Castle. Good guest experience.

Mr Tommy is an awesome host. Appreciate his cheerfulness and willingness to accommodate your needs.

バックパッカーには最高

オーナーがしっかり気を使っていただき、常に清潔で快適に滞在できる空間を作ってくれている。会話も楽しく、朝食のサンドイッチも最高だ。昼間の時間には滞在不可なのはネックで、チェックインが5時なのもちょっと大変だが、それ以上のものがここにはある。次に来た時もまた是非お世話になろうと思う。一押しの宿である。

初めてのゲストハウスということもあり、着くまで不安と緊張でいっぱいでした。しかしフロントでTommyさんが暖かく迎えてくださり、その緊張が一気になくなりました。 チェックインからチェックアウトまで「何かお困りごとないですか？」と逐一聞いていただけたので不安なく一夜を過ごせました。 本当に暖かく迎えていただきました。また機会があれば是非とも利用したいゲストハウスでした。
