Hotel de charme, tres propre très. très bien situé. Petit dejeuner tres correct. Personnel discret, disponible et souriant.

Accueil très professionnel dès 14:30. Chambre 17 aménagée avec goût, donne sur le canal : très calme, confortable. Plateau bouilloire, eau minérale. Salle de bains ok, miroir loupe, chauffe-serviettes. Petit déjeuner buffet très complet et délicieux. Parking en bord de canal ou places bleues.

Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse et très bien agencée, hôtel calme et très bien situé.

Nous avons réservé sur Expédia la chambre confort et nous avons eu la chambre standard qui ne nous a pas convenu, elle donnait directement sur la rue en rez-de-chaussée donc impossible d'ouvrir le volet alors qu'il faisait chaud et que nous avions payé pour voir la rivière.

This was our 2nd stay at this lovely welcoming hotel in Coulon. Returning to a hotel I think speaks volumes, and after our 2nd visit I'm pleased to say if anything it's even better. This is a great stopover for us on route from the South West to Caen. It's about halfway on an 8 hour drive, and is not too far off the motorway. Coulon is so relaxing and tranquil after a motorway journey, and you can take a boat and paddle gently round the canal network. It's beautiful. Then head for a meal at one of the restaurants which are within walking distance. We went to The Gourmand just around the corner and it was very good. The hotel is right at the waterside and you can park on the street, or there are some places reserved right alongside the entrance. My pictures are not of the hotel, you can see plenty of those on this site, but of Coulon and the beautiful area around. We will definitely be back.
