The inn and the room was clean it is a old inn so stairs very steep staff very friendly the breakfast was excellent

Generally a good place to stay, room was very small for a double and breakfast experience could be better with some cereals and fresh fruit rather than just a cooked breakfast of the menu.

Good quality food served by friendly attentive staff. Good value rooms clean and tidy.

Great pub, great food and drink, lovely rooms and fantastic staff

My room was cold and damp - clean but as said cold - I was offered an alternative that was equally cold - then offered a heater to help that was better - but heating was turned off overnight with the outside temperature being zero degress therefore it was cold in the morning - was glad i could put the alternative heater on - overall not ideal and uncomfortable because of the cold, which was throughtout the property! One member of staff was very helpful (cannot remember her name) - breakfast staff were very slow and not attentive at all, quality of the breakfast was poor.

After a minor hiccup with our room not having been made up from the previous guests, everything was extremely good. If this is the area you want to stay, this place is highly recommended.

Room was very cold, radiator not hot. Only one bath towel and one hand towel supplied for two of us. Bill not correct. Tried to charge me for items not had.

Great experience from check in to check out. Lovely building, good evening meal and great breakfast. Quick and attentive service and a good sized and comfortable room. Recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel room was nice with 2 options for pillows. The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle to make hot drinks. Downside was the room was freezing with the air conditioning on, I couldn’t find a thermostat to switch it off and I was very cold overnight. The shower hose leaked at the shower connected snd on the side, spraying water everywhere. The shower fittings were loose and need replacing.
