Cleanliness

Great location but the rooms are quite small. We checked in early. They sent me a text when our room was ready. We got there shortly after to find that they gave our room away and we had to wait. The breakfast is nice but the space is small. You are sitting on top of others in the dining space. We were there three nights and two of those mornings, we were greeted by a 7:30am fire alarm. We enjoyed our time in NYC but I don’t think we would stay there again.

Loved staying here. Highly recommended. Very clean. 2 complimentary drinks each and snacks from 5:30pm till 7pm. $30 per room per day to spend in restaurants/ bar. Comfortable room, clean and very quiet. Great location 6 min walk from Penn Station and Grand Central. 5 mins to Bryant Park or Times Square

The staff of the hotel was friendly and tried to accommodate you as much as possible. The location is excellent!

Excelente trato, personal muy atento. Desayuno variado y muy rico. Lo único es que la habitación es un poco pequeña, pero de lo demás excelente.

The location was close to the train station and many of the places we planned to visit. Another family member had a different room for one of the nights we were staying there and they honored my request to have us all on the same floor which we all appreciated!

Great location. Pull out sofa bed not good.

The area is quite dirty. The hotel should get involved with the area. There was no hairdryer, conditioner. The microwave was not working.

The staff does not acknowledge or greet you at all until you greet them . You can be standing in front of them while they are NOT helping anyone and will not bother asking , how can I help you .

Plugs didn't work in room. Water pressure was terrible and water didn't get warm. Breakfast was nasty. Bed was hard as a rock. Good location

Overall the star of this property is the staff! They were phenomenal, all so friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and housekeeping was excellent. Enjoyed the breakfast - even though we left before it started several days. Would love if it could have started at 6. The welcome reception is nice but we were rarely back at the hotel in time to take advantage of it. The $30 city fee can be off putting but it is useful at times. Its downfall is if you are going, going, going and you can’t make it back while they are still serving. It is open till 11 so if you have a less packed schedule it would be easier to take advantage of. The rooms aren’t huge but that’s probably typical of NYC. It was a tight fit to get on the side of the bed by the wall. Our room in particular had an electrical outlet that had pulled away from the wall, bathroom door and shower door wouldn’t stay shut, however we were in our room only to sleep so not big issues for us. The rooftop movie thing that is advertised is not free but the area up there is near as is the concept.

The staff very friendly all smiles from everyone.. I rate this hotel 10/10 great stay… when I come to New York again I will come back here

Excellent stay! Extremely hospitable staff (Adam at concierge, Kevin at breakfast). The breakfast had great variety and good quality food. Appreciated the evening happy hour reception as well. Clean room. Very centrally located in midtown - lots of options within walking distance and several subway stops a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was in an excellent area. Easy to get on the subway and walk to area attractions. Breakfast was excellent. Good variety. Complimentary happy hour is a nice touch! Great view of the Empire State Building on the top floor! One con would be that this hotel needs a bellhop.

Great location. Great front desk professionals. So-so bar/restaurant option. The restaurant decor and lobby furnishings were dated. I visited in late spring, and the tables in the very cramped restaurant/bar were covered in odd fall themed table linens that weren’t changed between guests. The breakfast was underwhelming. Avoid a connected room if possible.

I checked in a dirty room only bed and toilet was clean the floor is dirty and the chair has some dirty stains 😷 that can be cleaned but left dirty. I called for room cleaning after a night, only for her to make bed and clean toilet and the floor remain flirty.

Stayed in the junior king suit with ESB view. Room was very generous and pillows bedding was so comfortable Staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but super busy and not really enough seating. Would definitely stay here again
