Lovely hotel in a great location, beds are very comfortable & staff is very friendly.

There was a lot of noise in the room so didn’t sleep well

Loved this place. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is a former school and has kept much of the details. The staff was all magnificent and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay.

Without a doubt the best hotel I’ve stayed in London. Great price, service and customer care was fantastic. We didn’t eat in the restaurants but the food looked amazing and the restaurants were very well looked after. Beds were large and comfortable, the hotel was very secure and well looked after. Great drinks/cocktails and offers for guests. Highly recommend!

We stayed as go to the Palladium every year for panto. The hotel is a bit out of the way from where we were going but was worth the extra cab ride. Simply beautiful. The room was amazing. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. Oh my goodness l never knew l needed a heated toilet seat until now - the ultimate luxury! The interiors were lovely and the staff really friendly. We had a first class English breakfast.

Overall excellent stay. The location is great with loads of restaurants nearby and some rooms have a fab view of the Shard. The Japanese toilets in the bathrooms are a great touch.

This very beautiful hotel, with a fascinating history, is in a fantastic location, very close to Bermondsay and the Tower Bridge and South Bank, but on a very quiet street. The service was terrific: everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend it.

Loved all the daily beverages, snacks and goodies on the house and the daily housekeeping. Comfortable bedding.

We have stayed in other 5* hotels and this is definitely not a 5* hotel. We had high hopes after reading all the positive reviews before our stay but left feeling completely underwhelmed. The doorman/concierge extremely unwelcoming/rude on arrival. The building was lovely and the entrance, teacher’s room and restaurant area was decorated beautifully. The room was clean, the bed was really small and unfortunately the toilet in our room and the one in the reception area did not work properly. The welcome video we felt lowered the class of the hotel. Great location but we will not be returning to the Lalit.

Clean and quiet easy access to the shard

We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in a fantastic location. Historic building made it extra special - if you are looking for something a little different. We had a lovely room overlooking views of the Shard. Delicious chocolate cake for our anniversary was waiting to greet us in our room. Heated toilet seat was a nice luxury plus a great shower. Service was excellent- spa and bar were very good too. The highlight was the dinner in the stunning dining hall where the food was delicious- best Indian fine dining experience!

Good service and experience. Found hairs in bed and milk in room was off. Corrected quickly by moving our room.

Very nice staff, great service

Unfortunately when we arrived the hotel had already closed for food , we had to order take out from a pizza place , breakfast was great and we toured areas around the hotel , Tower bridge, and Tower of London but when we arrived back to the hotel our room had not been cleaned and our keys needed reprogrammed again , I was not happy when you spend over $500 a night they should have rooms cleaned and they did know we were out as they ask you to hand in keys while out !!

Great location and a very high standard hotel, a lot of the original structure in tact from the time it was a school In late 1800 hundreds. Would highly recommend. Very nice and plentiful breakfast. 7 minutes walk from London Bridge Station.

An amazing hotel in the perfect location, within minutes walk of Tower Bridge and London Bridge. The hotel was super clean and the staff were amazing!

A great night stay at The Lalit, perfectly clean and staff were very polite and attentive. Very thankful for the cake they left in our room on our arrival for my husbands birthday!
