Beautiful, big room, comfy bed, nice mini bar and actual bar

Outstanding in every aspect.

Sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, wunderschöner Speisesaal. Frühstück war allerdings enttäuschend. Full English oder Indische Optionen. Am Buffet die Käse- und Wurstauswahl war ein Witz. Gesunde Optionen gab es wenig. Insgesamt schönes kleines Hotel aber wegen des Frühstücks würden wir nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

All staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless, and although not that big, it had everything we need. The complimentary mini bar is a nice touch and staff asked multiple times if we needed anything further. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Great location for Tower Bridge and Borough Market and central enough to get to other areas like Covent Garden without too much trouble.

Restauranten var desværre under ombygning, men maden var rigtig god.

Dejligt hotel

Beautiful building and great location, but very disappointing stay overall. I stayed one night and unfortunately experienced dirty bed linen with visible marks, which is unacceptable at this price point. My room was also opposite a staff/fire door that opened and closed loudly and repeatedly throughout the night, making sleep extremely difficult. The building itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the bar is lovely, though service was slow with only one staff member on duty. I raised these issues at checkout and later in writing (with photos of the dirty bed linen). While apologies were offered, the hotel declined to provide any meaningful compensation, which was disappointing and did not reflect the seriousness of the issues. They offered free breakfast and room upgrade (subject to availability), but I am not interested in returning to the hotel. Overall, not the standard I would expect from a top-end hotel and the price paid. I will avoid in the future.

Rugs worn and stained Gaslit by employee about the urine smell, telling me over and over that it’s just the smell of food. I guess their food smells like vinegar. Asked for ice to the room. Forgot to bring it. When we checked in they said that everything had been paid for, then flagged us down to pay later. Lots of confusion. The staff is incompetent. The restaurant and bar are lifeless.

The hotels internal design, classic, elegant and stylish but not pretentious. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. Great breakfast too

Beautiful room and upgrade for a birthday treat including a lovely cake

The hotel is very grand but needs more attention to detail to make it worthy of 5 stars. Breakfast was particularly poor, limited choice and really slow service

Tout est réuni pour passer un merveilleux séjour. L’hôtel magnifique, l’ambiance, l’amabilité du personnel. La propreté des lieux et en particulier de la chambre. Les petits déjeuners exceptionnels que ce soit le full breakfast Englos ou le full indian breakfast. L’entretien journalier de la chambre. Le professionnalisme de l’ensemble du personnel de l’établissement. Les lieux sont magnifiques que ce soit la salle où l’on se restaure ou le bar. De l’entrée à la chambre en passant par le restaurant et le bar tout vous invite à flâner autour d’un excellent repas indien ou d’un cocktail au bar. Nous y avons passé ma femme et moi même un excellent séjour autour de la nouvelle année.

Perfect en schoon hotel. Vriendelijk personeel en goed ontbijt. Ook erg mooie locatie.

Excellent place to stay

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Great location, and delicious food. The rooms were spotless and I loved the mini bars included in the rooms which included restocked refreshments for no extra cost, quality bottled water chips, tea and cookies. This is definitely a 5 star hotel and I’d visit them again.
