The staff was extremely helpful finding local restaurants and shopping. The rooms are well appreciated and decorated very modern to my taste. Simple and elegant!

It was such a vibey place to stay and the food at the restaurant was immaculate. The staff were wonderful and super helpful. I will be coming back for sure.

What a beautiful hotel!

The staff are extremely helpful. King room is large, clean, shower is clean and hot. Park in city hall for $2. It’s a 5 minute walk. Restaurant is expensive and not all that good. Rooms facing the Main Street are noisy because of the atrium on one side and street on other. The is no ping pong table or basketball hoop as some reviews suggest. Lobby is relaxing and a nice place to enjoy a coffee. Centrally located and easy walk to the main attractions and Rideau Mall.

You may end up paying EXTRA for things like internet or breakfast that are already listed as included in other hotel’s reservations. Don’t rely on the advertisements, always double check what’s actually included.

Parking is tight Fan (A/C) in the room was fairly loud. Room was large.

The restaurant is pricey, but the rooms and property are well maintained. Lots of pigeons outside our room in the early morning.

This is our hotel of choice when staying in Ottawa. Location is very central, rooms are well outfitted and staff is excellent!

The standout at this hotel is their staff. Front desk, car valet, housekeeping, bar staff you name it all were excellent. The young female bartender was fantastic (side note to her - my daughter chose UBC:)) as was the housekeeper who was happy to smile and say hello. I wish I knew their names so I could give a more personal thank you. Rooms were quiet and a good size with excellent amenities. Take note when booking that the atrium rooms do not have a window to the outside. While there is some light coming in from the glass roof of the atrium you need to keep your curtains mostly closed because of the artificial light that’s shines in. All in all would highly recommend.

The gym is being renovated. The upstairs fitness room overlooks the renovations and looks awful and smells so strongly of paint, plaster and dust, it made me and my husband feel sick after 10 minutes. I had to leave and walk outside for fresh air. The brunch is not as good as it used to be. The butternut quiche was awful and the salad dressings are not the same. Awful. We had 6 people for brunch. Too bad. I used to love this hotel. Beds are comfy. Rooms clean. Staff nice and efficient. Disappointed.
