A great quality holiday property in a working Northumberland village with Post Office, interesting local Community event at Village Hall and a pub

great accommodation, close enough to local sights if you have a car,the area is beautiful,open fields, country lanes,quiet, good pub and restaurant 100 metres away,friendly people,what's not to like.

The cottage was very well equipped with good quality appliances. It was tastefully furnished and decorated and we felt at home there. It was quiet and a good base from which to explore the area where there is a lot to do and see. If we go again to the north-east, we would certainly like to stay there again.

A beautifully renovated and well located cottage that we would highly recommend. We shall be re-booking!

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Cottage is in excellent condition in a quaint little village. Good location in Northumberland without the tourist crowds.

Simply brilliant cottage within 30 minutes of most of the sites you’ll want to visit in Northumberland. The village has a lovely local shop with coffee and the pub is brilliant and no more than 2 mins walk! There is also a local bus 3 times a day! Paul the owner was lovely and sent cab details and answered all questions ahead of our arrival! Definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 4 nights at Chatton Cottage, really enjoyed staying there, would definitely recommend. Good location for visiting the Northumbrian coast, and a lovely village to stay in.

Chatton Cottage is an ideal location for exploring the Northumberland coast. Excellent accommodation, comfortable with all you need for a relaxing break. The local pub provides good food and beer and the village shop provides the basics you may need.

Beautiful cottage in a country village. Lovely area for walking. Very relaxing.

I spent a few days on a quiet retreat there, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area. The cottage was well equipped, and there were books and DVDs provided if you'd wanted to use them. The owners very kindly left a complimentary bottle of wine and some cookies in the kitchen on arrival. It was very comfortable and delightfully tastefully decorated. Lovely experience.
