Very clean and quiet place. good for relaxation trip and finding peace. Personnel friendly but not so good at english language. Overall good staying

After our 17 hours of flight it was a delight to spend our first day in this beautiful environment! Absolutely enchanting, peaceful and quiet! The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were amazing! Unfortunately the weather was terribly hot (went above 40 that day), but when we requested a fan in our room by the time we got back it was delivered. The restaurant was also first class. The food was delicious and the service was beyond our expectations! The waitresses might be young but don’t let that fool you, they were very professional! The castle grounds are beautiful, well kept and tranquil! We will definitely stop at Karolyi Kastely again our next visit to Hungary! Thank you for your hospitality and amazing service!

Don't get to sleep in a 150 year old, renovated palace often. Quiet location. Take a tour of the palace, amazing. To bad they don't have the country of Canada in their reservation database...haha. After 10 min just gave us our room key.

Beautiful surroundings, nice exterior ambiance, excellent dinner, and very good breakfast, but lack of interior ambiance (no enough decorations and comfy zones), strange space organization of rooms on the first floor (and with small windows facing the legs of people doing the tours), smell of the kitchen spreading to the rooms in the western wing, and long walk from parking area to the entrance (on earth path, which may be a problem in the case of rains)

This hotel is beautiful both inside and outside, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is to die for - what a beautiful and delicious spread. The beds were very comfortable (stayed in first floor room) and the bathroom quite nice. If I had to make any suggestion for improvement, it would be to have a small fan in the room in case it is hot out. With the door and window closed there's no air movement. If you open the windows, unless it's windy outside, there's still no air movement and mosquitos may come in. A fan of any kind in the room to move air around while sleeping would be a nice touch.

Wohnen im Schloss, schöne Zimmer, schönes Park, gutes Frühstück Extrem viele und aggressive Mücken im Park. Sehr warm im Zimmer im Sommer, keine Klima, harte Betten . Am negativsten waren die Inkompetenz der Mitarbeiter. Beim Checkout wollten mir die Mitarbeiter mir mehrfach Leistungen buchen, die ich bereits bezahlt habe. Das ganze hat 15 Minuten gedauert. Bei meinem Kollegen wurde es noch schlimmer, da wurden Sachen in Rechnung gestellt, die er gar nicht hatte

Lovely, clean, affordable... castle living. Ask for a room with working AC, seems that few are working...

Bel endroit et personnel charmant. Le couple Français gérant le lieu et leurs convives ont eu une attitude tout à fait inappropriée de la part de soit disant professionnels de l’hôtellerie vis à vis de leur clientèle durant de notre séjour. La demi pension est à éviter étant donné la piètre qualité du dîner (ne pas se fier au site de l’hôtel qui indique un restaurant gastronomique et un dîner en 4 services, il s'agit en fait d'un buffet sans intérêt, voir mes photos) et son prix élevé en comparaison des prix d'un bon restaurant en Hongrie.

This Hotel in a castle, is an excellent place to visit. The chef is extremely talented and all our meals were delicious. The Resturant staff were knowledgeable about the menu and the wines from the local region. We viewed the castles historic displays, explored in the 100 acre park and cycled around the local villages. This Hotel is an amazing facility in a 200 year old castle that has been restored to a very high standard. We recommend a stay in this Hotel.
