This place was amazing, definitely our favorite stay while we were on the island. The room was huge and perfect for my group of 3 girls. It is super cute too. Self check in process is always nice too. Took us a second to find the door we needed to enter but everything was super easy after that. The garden was beautiful and I wish we had more time to spend there. The breakfast was great too! They provided a selection of cheese, bread, yogurt, fruit, and meat. The staff was super nice and didn’t seem to mind that we didn’t speak Portuguese. The location was fine, about a 20 min drive from Furnas. Easy enough to get around to the different sights on the east side of the island. Would highly recommend!

Ancienne maison familiale rénovée et très bien aménagée, chambres spacieuses, et au calme, avec très bonne literie. Bon petit-déjeuner avec produits locaux (fruits, fromages, pains). Parking bien dimensionné et beau jardin. Hôtesse très sympathique et attentionnée. Nombreux restaurants dans le bourg. Très bonne adresse !

I cannot say enough positive things about this location and the host! It has amazing views, the breakfast was wonderful, and Fatima and her staff are simply outstanding! The rooms have a great view, and they are big with a comfortable bed. When we go back to the Azores we will definitely be staying here again!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre sejour de trois nuits. Hébergement calme, bien situé, beaux espaces pour relaxer sur le site. À quelques minutes en voiture de Povoacao, pour des restaurants. Très bons services clients et conseils pour visiter les environs. On y retournerait sans hésiter!

Nous ne pouvions pas trouver mieux. Cela n'existe pas ! Merci à Fatima , Sandra et Susan qui ont pris soin de nous pendant notre séjour, bien plus que tout ce que nous pouvions espérer.

Fatima un'ottima padrona di casa. Posto tranquillo immerso nella natura. Il giardino è molto curato. Piante aromatiche ovunque che emanano un profumo unico. Un'oasi di pace.

I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island.

Sejour en famille 2 adultes, 2 enfants. Rien à redire tout était parfait. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. L’appartement était très bien équipé. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel et typique des Açores. Personnel au petit soin et très à l’écoute. Je recommande a 200%.

We loved our stay. The breakfast was delicious and Rafaela and Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming.

Breakfast was amazing, with a variety of fresh local fruits, cheese and breads, and very tasty homemade jams. The host, Ms. Fatima, was very helpful with the planning of our activities on the island, and suggested many interesting places to visit. I really hope to visit again someday.

The place is extremely quiet and the view from my room was beautiful (view on the mountain and on the house's garden). Fatima and her colleagues were so welcoming. The breakfast is so varied (local cheese, ham, fruit and bread, beautiful jams). Perfect for a quiet stay and if you want to enjoy this part of São Miguel. Fatima gave me excellent advice about the area.

Zona sossegada, perto da natureza com uma grande vista. Ideal para quem procura sossego, à noite ouvem-se grilos, de manhã ouvem-se pássaros. Pequeno-almoço muito completo com produtos locais.

Bellisima casa con 3 stanze in un paesino in mezzo alle montagne ma poco sopra il mare. Proprietaria gentilissima. Eravamo gli unici presenti per cui abbiamo goduto di cucina e salotto. Colazione molto buona e con grandi quantità. Molto pulito. Letto comodo Ottima posizione per viditare ovest dell’isola
